Remarks

Basically my admission is through CUCET Entrance Test . Every year the CUCET Exam is conducted by central govt. through which we may take admission in any of the central university established by the Act of parliament in year 2009. The admission process is based on merit of the exam. Each central university which is a part of this is independent to conduct its own counselling process for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Basically, the central university of south bihar I.e. CUSB is No.1 of the bihar and famous for its B.A.LLB course that's why I was interested to assure admission in this. From year 2018 the university conducts exam for 120 students every year. The faculty member is very supportive and caring in nature All the faculties are from the prestigious institution of our country like BHU,JNU,DU,AU,AMU,JMI,PU,HU,etc that's we can't question over there quality. And maximum of them is deserving their job. All have their own and unique technique of teaching and that is excellent. Standard of semester examination is high and only deserving candidate can pass tha exam easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is a provision of summer as well as winter internship. As law student internship is mandatory for us for a bit of knowledge about proceeding in law. The internship opportunity is very beneficial or mandatory or compulsory for everyone to enhance there interest or choose there best field.

Placement Experience

3.5

From last semester or last year, students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited and each and every piece of information is circulated by the placement cell of the university administration. 35-45k/months is min. Package for a student. Aa I'm pursuing a law degree so surely I'm going to join the law field at last.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nominal fees as a comparison to private and high than state universities. 14618(fees)+18000(hostel)+27500(mess) Per year. The scholarship is for the topper and based on attendance. No more scholarships or stipends.

Campus Life

3.5

As CUSB is a newly established university and is far from the main city and is in a village near by panchanpur. Atleast 2 seminars is organized by the complete authority every month. There is currently no permanent library is in the campus but 7000+ journal is available for students. Also, there is a fine sports facility available there for both boys as well as boys.

Hostel Facilities

4

Allotment of the hostel is also based on merit list because there are not enough seats to accommodate each and everyone that's why is a merit-based criterion for allotment. Hostel facilities are good as there is an allotment of three students in a single room, with 3 beds 3 chairs,3 tables and three almirahs for them. Mess food quality is not satisfactory. There is a 4-time meal for everyone in mess including morning breakfast, lunch, evening breakfast, and dinner at night. If you don't want to join the hostel then in that condition you have to join the rent room nearby campus at panchanpur,Tekari, kujapi, delha, or at Gaya. All these are within 10km of a college campus.

Reviewed on May 23, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Placement Experience:

CNLU is generally known for Judiciary. The majority of students are preparing for the Judiciary exam. Placement at this college is quite low compared to other colleges. This is because in placement very few students sit and appear for the placements. The majority of the students opt for higher studies like LLM or other PG courses or start preparing for Judiciary or Civil service exams. The main disadvantage of low placement is the geographical location of this college. It is situated in Patna where there is no company resides. All the major companies are in Delhi, Mumbai, or other big cities. Patna is underdeveloped which is why most of the big companies don't come to recruit the students. Students are eligible for placement from the eighth semester only. After completing his/her graduation they can join the company. Major companies visited for placement are banks and second-tier law firms. Approx 25% of students get placed during the year. I am planning to prepare for the judiciary.
