Remarks

The food can be very painful at times but everyone is there to learn and food is something which comes secondary. Besides there are a number of dhabas for the lip smacking food. And of course there is Maggie. so it can be pushed thourough.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course being a vocational one was pretty stuffed. We were on our toes all the time. We learnt, along with the laws, to be attentive to our surrounding. We had 5 tests for every paper one Mid sem paper and one final paper, all for 100 marks.

Placement Experience

1.5

No. Sorry. There was no any placement. The university is in a growing phase. Though we have some of our brightest minds interacting with the outside world in their own expertise. But there is no provision for placements. There will be very soon a placement cell though.

College Events

4.5

Major events were: Ek Bharat Shoureshtha Bharat programme. Indradhanush- The Annual Sports. Parliamentary debate- Raise the quality of your argument. Intra university moot Court. Edu Fest. Science fest. Legal Aid program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was quite feasible. Being a central university, the fee was very reasonable. For a semester, it was 4000. As compared to other universities over the same quality and faculties we were certainly at some advantage.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was Merit cum Means scholarship for students who topped. There was also this scholarship for attendance. Alongside there was Earn while You Learn Scheme. This one was really productive in the sense that we got to contribute to the university.

Campus Life

4

Labs are those of top notch. The university is still in a budding phase but considering it's early stage and budget constraints the facilities are really good. There were societies for different things like moot Court, parliamentary debate cultural philosophical. Every year twice there used to be hostel parties.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel infrastructure was pretty good. The hostel rooms were big and airy. The most amazing thing was the recreation room that was the hub for all the fun. Be it the birthday celebrations or group study that was our go to place.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were our guide as well as guardian angels. From notes to rulebook of every teacher they helped us. They were always there. The one to motivate the one to reprimand. The one to take care of stuffs.

Admission

The first stage was a WT. We had to prepare everything we could. Mostly the emphasis was on general awareness. For the interview part, the board was more focused on the why part. That what has motivated us to take up the course. They knew sort of that if we are there we already know about the subject more or less. But all they wanted was to assess that whether we were cut out for it or not.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties were extremely helpful. Be it in the class or the doubt sessions. The class was a two way conversation. We learned from their experience as well as their teachings. They were cooperative not only with the classroom work but also with our future endeavors.

Chanakya National Law University - [CNLU], Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}
Reviewed on May 23, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Placement Experience:

CNLU is generally known for Judiciary. The majority of students are preparing for the Judiciary exam. Placement at this college is quite low compared to other colleges. This is because in placement very few students sit and appear for the placements. The majority of the students opt for higher studies like LLM or other PG courses or start preparing for Judiciary or Civil service exams. The main disadvantage of low placement is the geographical location of this college. It is situated in Patna where there is no company resides. All the major companies are in Delhi, Mumbai, or other big cities. Patna is underdeveloped which is why most of the big companies don't come to recruit the students. Students are eligible for placement from the eighth semester only. After completing his/her graduation they can join the company. Major companies visited for placement are banks and second-tier law firms. Approx 25% of students get placed during the year. I am planning to prepare for the judiciary.
