Remarks

I picked this college because I wanted smaller class sizes and the chance to establish close relationships with other students and my professors. The admission process is via taking quant and English test and also by aktu counseling .I relished the opportunity to engage with other students and work together to complete projects.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose B.Tech(computer science & Engineerring) because of the several opportunities available to the students of B.Tech. It is one of the most trendy courses of today's times and most demanded ones. B.Tech helps you to developing various software for that time by Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning. The minimum qualification for faculty is M.Tech and minimum 2 year of Experience is required.in our campus, every year 2 semester exam were conducted, and 2 mid term examination and 1 pre university exam were conducted. there is no difficulty to pass the examination because the paper are come from the syllabus .

Internships Opportunities

3

I worked as an Intern in Wipro, so I don't have a lot to say about Wipro. It was fun working there and the environment is really nice and friendly. Only thing that bothers is the compensation.I got stipend of 15000 upto 6 months.I am working on Artificial Intelligence based project , and my roll is to design the development process of that project.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible from 7th semester. Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, Nagaroo, LTI and Daffodril etc.The highest salary is 8LPA is given by Infosys as a Power Programmer. the average package is 3.5LPA by most company.and about 95 percentage students get placed in college placement .My plan is to become a Software DEVELOPER after completion of degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees increased every year by 10 percentage and per year cost of college fees is 120800 and hostal fees is 80000 for non ac and 87000 for ac rooms. Scholarship is given by up government on submitting the scholarship form .I placed in Infosys on campus with 3.6LPA.

Campus Life

4.5

I can sum up my college experience in six words.College is like a big bubble. The annual fest & tech fest is conducted every year in February or March.and one celebrate comes in my college to perform .there are 2 library in my college, and arround 5000 books are available and arround 700 journals in the library .PSIT conduct various curricular activities like debate sessions where we discuss some current affairs topic. Different competitions like quiz, singing, dancing, poetry, talkshow, fashion show, sports. Various cultural and managerial events are organized here but one major fest is our annual fest and that is ignitia.there are many social group like utthan , hackwithpsit, prayas ,logix, baston.

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
