I choose SCE Bcoz (1). good rating on that time, (2). Influenced by one of my senior who also there in that college. Overall Good teaching staff, friends circle, infrastructure, but some extent lack in practical teaching practices, no celebrations especially for 2016-2020 batch (corona batch) i.e., no fresher's party, no Sankalp (annual cultural meet of SCE), no graduation day, After college life completed, we feel no extended feelings towards college except friends and staff circle.

Actually Overall BE program is a big flaw especially under VTU. I think except IITs in India giving good engineering which I feel all lacked with what's today companies looking for. The curriculum itself not at the level of today's companies requirements.

From college there is no good internships and no industrial visit to all. There is impartiality if you're not good in academics then no industrial visit. And that too in final year only or from 3rd year.

Just 5 to 10% placement assurance from college, if you're thinking of core mech or civil or electrical - it's your responsibility to get job in your core. Otherwise if you're looking for IT - There are private institutions like Q-spider, J-spider in Bengaluru, there is a high possibility of getting placed there.

Fee 1lakh per year, and under state govt I get 20k scholarship. Due to financial problems in my case I took educational loan. About fee hike - min 5k per year hiking, to complete engineering degree you minimum require 4lakhs, and if you're from other place and if you don't free accommodation facility then add 2 - 2.5lakhs min. Then it'll 6 - 6.5lakh s required to complete engineering.

Sankalp - the annual fest & tech fest usually conducted in the month of March. In a small campus there is a library, digital library with to some extent good sports activities in the campus. There is a team called CAD - cultural and technical team - which looks into organizing cultural activities in the campus.

I get the seat through KCET. After my 2nd puc I write KCET which includes physics, chemistry and mathematics of 10+2 level. KCET has only 1 MCQ based testing pattern, after results go through varification and councelling then join the college.
