Remarks

So, the course fee in my college is too less which is the main reason for taking admission in this college. Plus, the placement record and course curriculum is too good. Further, the admission is too simple, for that I submitted the application form in January 2020 with the application fee and then based on CAT score, work experience, previous academic record and performance in GD and PI rounds, I got selected and finally got into my dream college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our college follows semester system and so we have 4 semesters in MBA program. The course curriculum comprises of the subject like organizational behaviour, macro economics, decision models in management, financial management, management information systems. Apart from that, summer internship and business research project are the most important part of course curriculum. In this, faculties plays significant role as they bestow us with theory and laboratory knowledge. They share their experiences of academia and industries. Also visiting faculty come for lecture and help us in various ways. Also, pre-placement training is given to us. So overall, I can say that both course curriculum and faculties of our department are best.

Placement Experience

4

Our college NITC is famous for its placement in top leading organisations with handsome package. So, among the top recruiters, I am going to mention a few of them who visited our campus last year. So, they were Wipro, CISCO, Amazon, Tata Motors, Morgan Stanley, IBM, Cognizant, Accenture and too many others. Further, the highest CTC recorded till now is 11 LPA and an average CTC of Rs. 7 lakh annually.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For MBA program, the fee I paid for a semester was 40000 and in total it is 1.6 lakh for two years. Also, I didn't avail the scholarship opportunity as it is available for SC/ST and other minorities from the state or non-keralites. For the merit based scholarship, if anyone from SC/ST applies, his/her marks in undergraduate should not be less than 50% and their annual family income should be less than 2.5 lakh. Then they will not have to pay a single penny as tuition or other fees. Also, one who does not get any scholarship and his/her family income is less and have to pay rebate on loans but can apply for educational loans as well .

Campus Life

4

The college campus and the campus life both are fabulous as we never feel boring here. Every day starts like the new beginning. We have got so many facilities here, so many reasons to have fun. Among those, most favourite is the events that are conducted occasionally. So here are a few events like business quiz competition - Paritah, marketing event - Mantra, and treasure hunt - Dhanaadhikrith, Photography Competition namely 'Vidyut'. So, these are something which I like the most. However, I didn't participate in any of the activities, but I like watching others and apart from this, I spend my free time playing sports.

Admission

The topic for Group Discussion was 'Union Budget 2020' and we had to say a few lines and the important points announced in budget 2020. Total time duration given was 20 minutes. During that round, on seeing my view and answer, I got selected for PI round and there were panelist who asked questions one by one related to my previous academics, work experience, participation in curricular activities. Moreover, other criteria required for admission was marks obtained in 10th 12th, graduation and national level management test.

My sister is an alumnus of this institute, she completed her MBA from here and suggested me to do the same as she had a wonderful experience here and was also able to develop a great relationship with her faculty members. My mother also wanted the same, so considering that they both are very wise, I decided to act on their suggestion. I applied here by paying INR 300 for the online application form.
