Remarks

Placement is a problem still after so many days and quality of education delivered needs to taken in one level up.

Entrance Preview

I took WBJEE to get into the college. We were the 2nd most batch passed out from the college. Opted for Electronics and communication Engineering as It industry was going through a rough patch during 2009-2010 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are good and there are enough material to get a foundation knowledge established required for an engineer.

No our college doesnt provide internships.

Placement Experience

Placement is a bit issue in the college. If you gain knowledge you dont have to depend on the college placement cell.

College Events

College fest,Freshers along with the Saraswati puja celebration and the Rabindra jayanti celebration.We host tech fest also which accomodates other colleges to take part.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes of course. Financial assistance is there. there are tie-ups with banks like SBI which provides education loans.

Campus Life

No racism is entertained. Gender ratio is also good. Students takes part in all the events actively. Overall a positive environment stays in the campus.

one internals per semester and the semester exams half-annually.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM,Amazon and many more visits the college and companies like TCS and Wipro take mass recruitment and companies like Amazon offers 2-3 job . Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
