Remarks

Before joing the college, the had heard a lot of this college. I had a feeling that I would get enrolled for this course. I was into designing from past two years and I wanted to do this course as my career. I had given my studio test in 3 different colleges and out of those I got 2 colleges.

I was interested in art and design. That's why I chose this course. The teachers are also good. There are even external teachers that come and teach like from outside. The student ratio is pretty good. In the 1st year there were about 60 students and in 2nd till now there are 40.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did a 2 month internship at MTek Engineers in Chakan, Pune. It was about exterior body parts like side skirts, front and rear bumper. I had worked upon some projects for innova crysta rear bumper, hyundai creta front bumper and side skirts, kia seltos front bumper.

Placement Experience

There are placements which are conducted every year for final year students. The companies that came to our college were Tronx Motors, Altigreen, Emplux Motors, DC motors. Till now the highest package that anyone has got was a 20 lakh package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of this course is 20 lakhs. Per year 5 lakhs. There were some colleges which offered scholarship. There was even a student exchange program where we could study for 1 sem. There are campus interview which are held.

Campus Life

There are some cool stuffs that are held at college which are college fests, sports events and bike shows. There is a library where we get all types of books whether for design or engineering or law.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
