Remarks
I didn't want to go out of my city to study and i found this college to be better than the others. It's not "the best" but it's not "the worst" either. Infrastructure is average, spacious classrooms, faculties are good, labs are equipped. Decent canteen and cafe. One thing I liked about this college is that they have a whole separate campus for freshers to avoid ragging and that kinda stuff.Admission process- I went for the admission and they asked me for my contact info and told me that they'd call. After a day or two got a call from the college. I got to talk to the counselor he guided me which branch will be good for me etc etc and then I went through an entrance exam, it was just a basic aptitude, reasoning and maths kinda exam. Later on I had a personal interview, Mr. Raman Batra asked me few questions and I was selected. So for me it was an easy process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had PCM in 12th and I didn't know what course to choose and I was searching the colleges in the area there were a lot of them but then NIET's counselor guided me about the courses and branches and their future scopes etc. There were approx 45 students in my class so you know the students faculty ratio but hey faculties were good, some were newbies but some were very experienced. Exams were timely but they were kinda hard to pass if didn't study. One night fight was enough if you just want to pass.
Placement Experience
Placement is okay-ish. I was in civil engineering department so the placement is definitely not a strong part of it. CS and IT guys got fairly good placements.Placement starts in 7th semester and you can appear for them. If you're lucky you get the job. I never appeared for a placement so I can't exactly what were the packages and other related stuff.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I personally didn't apply for any scholarships etc but my friends did and they got. They used to get 50k per year and I guess that was half of our college fees but something is better that nothing. Placement is okay-ish. I was in civil engineering department so the placement is definitely not a strong part of it. CS and IT guys got fairly good placements.
Campus Life
Life at the campus was fun but annual fests were boring. Omg they were very small and boring. Nobody liked them other than the college staff ofc. Tech fests were good.College library was definitely amazing. It had too many books I mean you can always have something to read. Newspapers, journals, magazines and books ofc. Books related to your courses. And you can get them issued too.
Admission
Yes. There was a basic aptitude, reasoning and maths test. They were very basic you don't need to study too much but I suggest you to get your basics cleared before appearing for the test and you should consult your guide too.
