Remarks

My admission to KEI was by merit base. After my board exam, I could not confidently decide that what sort of career should I pursue. Then one day I came to know about the Kingston educational Institute through a well-renowned newspaper. After consulting with my parents and then I got admitted to the BCom(H) course in the Kingston Educational Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

KEI provides lots of facilities to students not only regarding their course but another curriculum too, they give soft skill grooming classes, French Classes, Digital Marketing Classes and also provide Tally classes. All the faculty members of our college satisfy university norms as per their qualification is concerned. So no question arises regarding the level of lectures imparted in our classrooms. They are very much helpful and cooperative and always motivate us to move in the path of progress. During their lecture session, they deliver the speech in such a way that each and every student can understand without facing any problem.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I am currently in 1st year, so I have not done any internship but from my seniors, I came to know that from our BCom course our college provides us internships in various CA firms. Students can have a good experience during their internship.

Placement Experience

If you work hard, then you can get placements in many MNCs like TCS, Webel, Ambuja, Reliance, etc. The salary offered can be up to Rs. 15,000 to 65,000 per month. If you want good placements, then you have to maintain discipline in the college also. Our college has a good record of placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am a student of Bcom(H) my total 3 years fee is 75k. It is not mandatory to pay all the fee amount at once. Our college provides scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-means Scholarship (SVMCM), etc.

Campus Life

The college has the biggest ground for playing football, cricket, basketball, badminton and other outdoor games. Many new festivals are held in our college, and some of the cultural activities conducted here are Basant Utsav, Diwali, Saraswati puja, etc. Extracurricular activities like sports, Marathon, Bastra Bitaran, etc., are held in our college. In Kingston education means not only study but the definition of education get complete meaning when it is blended with lots of other co-curricular activities.

Likes

Teachers behaviour and their way of teaching
Classrooms are well maintained with air conditioned
Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for placement from The 7 semister or the 8th one.. Many msme complanies are linked to this college. Flipkart are one of the best company who hired new recruits from this college. I visited Ardent Computer Msme companies... As an Internship And it's one of the most outstanding company A standard percentage will help you to carry on.. My plan is to give the CAT exam and pursue for MBA

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

Admission:

Getting admission was easy, I had to first make sure that I was able to fulfil the eligibility criteria of getting accepted in the college, once that was done, I had to fill the application form which is present in the college website.

Remarks:

The ground of our college is way too short. Rather not too short but not enough. The infrastructure is good. We have own individual departments for every stream or courses. The buildings are much big.

Admission:

I want a cafe fill-up the application form and returned home after fifteen days. My college revelt a marit list and I am successful in this marit list , a date was fixed by my college for successfully candidate to addition. I went that day and admitted in the college.
