Course Curriculum Overview

The BCA curriculum is industry-relevant, covering coding, AI, and networking. It prepares well for IT jobs but needs more hands-on projects. Exams are semester-based, moderately tough. More internships and updated tech tools would improve learning.

Faculty

Faculty-student ratio is ~1:20; faculties are supportive and approachable. Best faculties excel in teaching and mentoring. Exams are moderate, with semester-wise tests. Fail rate is low. The curriculum is industry-relevant but needs updates.

Interview Experience

Admission included a written test on aptitude & coding, followed by an interview on basics of CS. GD topics were tech trends. Prepared with mock tests & coding practice. Process was smooth & merit-based.

Night Life

Nightlife is decent with safe surroundings. Cafeterias & gyms close by 9 PM, library by 5 PM. Hostels have 8 PM curfew. Popular hangouts: campus café, nearby malls & food spots. Area is safe for students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus in the last i,e 8th semester before that their not eligible for campus placement Conpanies like Tcs , Capgemini, tech mahindra, accenture etc visites the college for BCA placements The average offers ranges from 4-6 lakhs per annum the highest was around 12lakhs The highest was 12 lakhs per annum from Accenture and lowest was 3 lakhs per annum by tcs The student percentage is around 80 percent of then get placed while some also pursue higher studies My plan is to pursue Mtech from abroad and then eventually get placed at a nice company

The great experience at BIMS

Placement Experience:

After completing 2nd semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs wipro has visited our college. They also arranged job fail in their campus. Around 50 to 60 percent stdents got placed. I should prefer to have higher study after completing BCA.

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Firstly, I like computers and I want to have more knowledge about computers so I can choose BCA. The all teachers and staff are so supportive and we all love our teachers and they always love and give very good knowledge of this subject.
