Remarks
My admission process was held through a written exam and a GD later on. I prepared myself for the exam and later on participated in an aGD with Social Work professors where We talked about a specific topic. I did not apply to any other college other than JMI. I wanted to pursue Social Work only and I got admission in my desired today.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I always wanted to do something for our society I chose a career in Social work. The faculty of my course was one of the best. The teachers are very understanding and helpful in nature. All the professors are highly qualified. We were given our professors as Supervisors to attend fieldwork. We had our exam every six months and with the help of our professors, we passed all exams with very good marks.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship in 2 organizations. Firstly in Save the Children India and another in Shaktishalini. During the internship, I worked with children, young girls, and women. I conducted various workshops with them making them conscious about specif topics. The outcomes were very healthy as everyone participated in it. They showed their interest in the workshops and it was a success for both of us.
Placement Experience
Before our final exams, many companies and NGOs came to our college to give us job opportunities. Some NGOs tnat came to our college was Pardada Pardadi Educational society. Many students got placed in different organizations.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since the course is provided by Central University it's quite affordable. It's not very much costly and one can pursue it easily by clearing the exam and GD. Also, the course provides Placements for job opportunities to all the students of the course.
Campus Life
Campus life was just amazing. We used to have classes three days a week and 2 days of fieldwork. Infrastructure is also nice with proper sitting arrangements in the classrooms. We enjoyed ourselves with our friends and with our professors during our Individual Conference help every week. Also, we had our fieldwork partners with us which made the process more enjoyable.
Interview Experience
Written with the test is the first step to get into the course. Firstly if you pass the written test you will get an opportunity to appear in GD. The topic of Gd mainly comprises current affairs. Since the written exam is the most imp parameter to get into a course you have to prepare well by educating yourself GK, Current affairs, etc
