IIM Lucknow - The admission process has 3 steps - CAT Exam, GD/PI and final selection list. The final list is prepared by considering CAT score, PI score, 10, 12 and Grad score, as well as Work experience. There were brownies points for diversity (Female and Non-Engineer).
Course Curriculum Overview
One of the best MBA course to pursue in the country. The faculty is world-class and there was always an innovative teaching way. There were 3 terms per year, 2 main exams per term and numerous quizzes. The difficulty is subjective but the quality of the paper was always tough.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly all big firms come for internship opportunities on campus and the roles range from sales and marketing, finance, IB, operation, consultant and many others. The stipend ranges from INR 50000 pm to INR 2.5 lac pm.
Placement Experience
Campus placement facilities are run by the college itself and everyone gets placement in reputed companies. The highest international and national packages are INR 58 LPA and 52 LPA respectively. The average package goes around INR 24 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike policy completely depends on management. There are easily available bank loan facilities as well as a few merit and need based scholarships. The institute itself provides need based scholarship which is INR 1L/term. Job Got on campus - Tolaram Group (58.2 Lac CTC).
Campus Life
Annual Fest - MV, happened in the month of Dec. There were many clubs and committees covering music, dance, acting, business related in the campus which makes the campus life more fun. Regarding sports, badminton, cricket, football is the main.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess facility is provided by the campus itself. In total there are 17 hostels, including 5 girls hostels and everyone gets a separate room. The mess facility is awesome, the quality of food is really better than other hostels. The mess is run by students for the students.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was an interview round. The interview goes for around 45-50 mins and there was very interesting talk around the education policy, aerospace engineering, Indian polity and others. I have done self-preparation for these interview rounds, mostly covered the general things happening in the surrounding, current affairs and updates on the undergraduate course.
