Remarks

It was all organized and the staff was helpful. The minimum percentage required for admission was above 50 for both 10 and 12. There are 2 locations in which we can take admission and it is all on a first come first serve basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took a Computer science course. One teacher for every 10 student(1:10 faculty:student ratio). The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching method is also good. The exam is divide into midterms and final.Mid terms are after every month or 2 months.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship and placement opportunity is provided by the college. Stipends depend from company to company. The highest package student got was 32 lakh the previous year. Stipend and CtC depend from company to company.

Placement Experience

Placement is provided by the college. Many companies visit the campus for placement. From 6 semester companies visit campus for placement. Mostly every student get placed from college placement. Some students don't sit for placement because of their further education plans.

Fees and Financial Aid

BE-80000 per semester and 160000 per year. Fees are the same throughout the course. Bus fees depend on the area for average it ranges between 27000-32000. The scholarship opportunity is less. Placements are provided by the college and many companies visit campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good and there are many cultural and annual fest like rangrezz. The library is also decent and you can issue mostly any book related to your program. The college organizes many sports events also. There are n no of groups and clubs which you can join.

As far as i see most of my seniors are well placed from our university some of them are in plum , google and very know companies as the placement of the college is better than other college , mostly every student get a placemnet .

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
