I applied for Thakur College of Engineering, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology and Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute I didn't got in other colleges because of high cut off, I had the option for Thakur College, but as KJSCE was near to my place, I took it No, I am an open category candidate The admission criteria at our time the cut off for computer branch in KJSCE was 160 MHT CET score, therefore I got there, and no restriction of age as such The admission procedure includes first we filled our form, then after merit list came, we gone to whatever college we were selected, and just took the admission by paying the overall fees and submitting all the mandatory documents They also called our parents for counseling purpose and taking their signature
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because i was equally interested in hardware as well as software, and I has a passion of working with both The faculty-student ratio is 150:3000 In KJSCE each and every faculty are highly qualified, to be very specific, in computer branch, almost every faculty has their Masters degree also some have their PHD from the reputed colleges As KJSCE is a fully autonomous college, the terms are held twice in a year here, as it is very common One in November and one in May
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah the major and only issue of KJSCE is the fees hike There is a major fee hike each year here Cost to study is above 1.5 Lakh And most of the time students with poor background can't afford it So this is one of the cons of KJSCE No scholarship, no financial assistance, and no job on campus with a stipend This is the only bad thing about KJSCE
Campus Life
As KJSCE is well known for its fest, there is an innumerable fest that gets over in our college.Talking about Tech Fest, so it is Abhiyantriki, which is very highly motivated by all of the talented minds getting participate from all over India Events like hackathon also get initiated in this fest Annual Fest is Symphony with the Bollywood celebrity entertaining the students The library always includes all books and journals that is very easy to take and borrow for students As everyone knows about KJSCE campus life, Amenities is at its best in every classroom, with no disturbance and learning environment The sports are cricket, volleyball, football, etc. Also, the football and cricket team won at national level. Extra curricular has dance and singing, gym, etc. Dance team has also won at the national level. Many social groups and cluns exist including Team Gyrations, Csi KJSCE, etc Website: somaiya.edu
