Student Life at KJSCE

I applied for many institutions like VJTI, COE - Pune, SPIT, KJSCE, VESIT. These are some of the main institutes for Engineering after diploma. The admission process for KJSCE is through MHCET, you need to have at least 150 above rank to get admitted in KJSCE - Computer Engineering for General Quota.

I have done Diploma in Computer Engineering. So, I opted for a degree in the same field. Here, the teaching method is modern with well-equipped labs and digital services. You get an official mail address and can access a number of paid services from Google and its partners for free. Since KJSCE is autonomous so the syllabus here is a little bit different from others so you need to work hard to cope up, else there are plenty of events going on to enjoy. For term exams, these are quite similar to MU

There are plenty of Internship Opportunities, the best internship this year was with JP Morgan and Chase, they offered the position of Software Engineering Intern with a sensation stipend of Rs. 50000/- per month. The process was to crack a coding test followed by an interview.

Every year plenty of Companies visit our institute for Campus Placement. For the year 2020-2021, 64 companies visited, 508 offers were made and 421 students were selected, the highest package was Rs. 40 Lakhs by Microsoft and the average package is Rs. 5.71 Lakhs. The percentage of a student getting selected is 85%. My plan is to get placed in such companies with least 5 lakhs CTC

The fees of KJSCE are quite high than other institutes, but the infrastructure and labs here are better than others. Professors are up-to-date with the trending technologies. The scholarship I opted for is Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC) that provides a benefit of Rs. 79278 that is almost had of the fees but you require an Income Certificate to apply.

The Annual Fest of KJSCE is Symphony which is conducted every year in the first week of March. The fest consists of various technical and non-technical events. we have access to a large online library managed by Somaiya, where you get every book you need. We also have access to IEEE Xplore to keep track of trending technologies. Every classroom has well-equipped resources for teaching and learning. The Student Council, BloomBox, tec are some of the clubs managed by Students.
