Remarks

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college

Entrance Preview

I have given MHCET examina my score was 80% and closer to my house and best in Solapur university and was

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Infrastructure is good. A huge college library.faculty is very supportive. teaching is very good. Labs are good.overall college is good.campus facilites are good.classes are interactive in nature and are healthy mixes of presentations, case studies. Tests conducted on regular basis can planned as well as surprise in nature

Internships Opportunities

The library is the best. 2-3 outdoor games facilities are available and no indoor games facilities are available. The labs and classrooms facility are the best. Worst Wi-Fi. The food quality in the canteen is average. Hostel rooms facilities are very good. No infrastructure problems are there

Placement Experience

4

Companies like Tech Mahindra, Persistent, Satyam Computers, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Tata Technologies, Accenture and many others visit every year. Your score must be 65%+ to be eligible for interviews. About 80% students get selected easily as we have a placement cell which trains us for interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college faculty is very nice. One should considering joining this college. Each year placement count increases. The teachers are also very cooperating and helpful in nature. The infrastructure is very good and all the basic facilities are also at their best level. Parking area is allotted to all the students and separate parking is there for ladies. Overall, environment is pleasant and one should choose this college while filling forms.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my experience, the faculty is good and they are supportive, helpful and friendly in nature. They are also knowledgeable and if we talk about teaching method, they correlate subject with live examples. The student to faculty ratio is quite good. I did not get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is somewhat good as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

3.5

It's very much average. Only 2 buildings are there and those are also not well maintained. The campus is very short which proves that the college only focuses on their study not on their development. Because the hostel facility is also not so good. Maintenance is not done properly.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Good choice but not for girls because the atmosphere of Solapur is not so good. Local gentry where the college is situated is very poor. Solapur consists of people who are having a very backward mentality. If a student just wants to study and make his career bright, it's a good option but at the same time, infrastructure is not so good.

Alumni/Alumna

This college is good for production and manufacturing but, weak in design and thermal related subjects. They don't teach you software’s or subjects like ESA, FEM, and CFD. So one complete field of interest is missed out I.e. the analysis part, wind tunnel experiments, and the crash test part..

Exam Structure

The library is the best. 2-3 outdoor games facilities are available and no indoor games facilities are available. The labs and classrooms facility are the best. Worst Wi-Fi. The food quality in the canteen is average. Hostel rooms facilities are very good. No infrastructure problems are there

Admission

Placement is average, not too bad not too good. In the college, many companies visit like Infosys, TCS, L&T Infotech and many more but when we talk about Infosys and TCS, they didn't hire in bulk. In my batch, near about 40% of the students got campus placement. The highest package is 4.4 LPA and the lowest is 2.1 LPA.

Faculty

4.5

It will lead you towards the best options in your life. Teachers are very much dedicated. They will guide you in each and every way. Teaching techniques are very good. They focus on each and every student in the class. Notes provided by them are so good. During the exam time, notes are very helpful.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
