Entrance Preview

I took CET as my entrance exam my ranking was around 35k so option entry in the procedure went wrong,so I had no option but to study in my home town

Course Curriculum Overview

My course has wide range of scope and it's still expanding . Technology never gets a back seat it's always in the mode of progress . So there is a huge opportunities for research .But in my college there are scanty no.of people for my course

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are not that good,but a handful of companies come SRM technologies : 2.5 lacs/anum,some training centres come here to fetch students.

College Events

College conducts fests like mechanical fests ,resonance, students from other colleges in Bangalore & other cities also participated in them

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not that expensive yup it is feasible,fee structure would be below 1 lac/ year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are available in plenty but you need to get at least a aggregate of 50 % to avail it.college scholarship also available for OBC.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good & is up to the standard u need to pay around 15 k per annum for the hostel .hostel it chilled out, not that strict.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni interaction is helpful ,they help us with the issues related to the college ,academic issues & other sorts of things. They help us understand the college better

Exam Structure

Exams & labs are not that frequent,but internals are conducted in a span of one semester when the time of examination comes it leaves you hectic.

Faculty

Faculties are up to date,they engage with you to make sure that you are studying something.almost all of them have done their masters,they show some interest in doing something for their dept.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

Coorg Institute of Technology is situated in Coorg and the climate over there is nice. The college was near to my hometown even though it is in another state. It's just 2 hour drive from my place.
