Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET entrance exam , 4150, I opted for EEE because it had great opportunities in private as well as Public sector and also these students can go to software side also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is very well framed by Osmania University with special emphasis to mould the students on research side.

Internships Opportunities

College from its side doesn't provide internships. But, if the students are interested to do internship, they provide necessary permissions.

Placement Experience

Good placements from top MNC's like Wipro, CTS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture every year offering packages ranging from 3L-8L. Every year nearly 60% of students get placed on campus itself.

College Events

This college celebrates technical and cultural fests every years. Technial fest is celebrated in the name of Samavarthan and cultural fest in the name of Sangamam. Apart from these, college celebrates Founders day, teachers day, Gurupournima, Freshers day, Desi day etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility can be availed from the Andhra Bank within the campus itself for the eligible candidates.

Exam Structure

Very cool exam structure is provided by Osmania university. It follows a semester system with 75 marks for external exam and 25 marks for internal exams and for labs 50 marks for external and 25 marks for internal. This college has good track record of getting top 5 university ranks every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. Unveiling Excellence- My Experience at IIT Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. My plans after getting this degree would be moving abraod for a Masters Degree.
