Best experience in Industrial training

I gave the exam which was conducted by NCHMCT that times Where you will be examined according to your performance in the entrance exam According to your All India Rank, they will allot you the college In counselling you will be notified that for which college you can apply to and how to apply and they will tell you the necessary documents required So I got the 6009 ranks and I opt for IHM Bangalore. I have had an OBC quota. My age was 17 at that time and I guess for General and OBC maximum age was 23. This all depends upon your All India Rank. Wherein exam English section matters the most.

I choose this course because I had an interest in hotel management. The faculty are so so helpful. Especially I would like to mention f&b faculty are so good. There are limited numbers of students in one batch so 2 teachers per 40 students. Most of the faculty have done masters and PhD. Exams are so easy as teachers will be taught you so good you will able to understand and pass your exams very easily.

I have done my internship at ITC grand Bharat hotel and resort, from gurugram Haryana, for four months. I was getting 3000 per month as a stipend. I have done so many things there from the waiter's role to managing staff under you. That place is good for proper exposure.

From the 5th semester, they will start your campus placement. So many reputed and big companies will be there. Taj hotels, Oberoi, Leela, ITC, Marriott, Hilton, Bata, Reliance, Aditya Birla, Etc. The highest package can go from 6 lac to 7 lac. And average will be 2.5-3 lac per annum. 100 % placement will be there. I will do work in hotels.

The fee is quite high as per the course. As this is Bangalore so this area is so expensive and developed. I haven't got any scholarship from the college. I got the internship program when I was in my 2nd year in ITC grand Bharat hotel where my stipend was 3000. I am getting the job application to fill from the college nowadays even in covid 19 situations.

Yes, a fresher party will happen, Theme lunch will happen which is the most memorable part of my college journey till now. The library is full of books you can avail any kind of books related to hotel management in the library very easily. Sports day will happen every 6 months. They will book some complex for the sports day celebration. There are more than 10 clubs and social group and their website with Instagram pages.

The hostel is a bit of disappointed in terms of location this is apx 10 km far from the college but the metro is available within walking distance. At the same time, the hostel is so so big and good rooms are so big there are plenty of spaces in the hostel with food facility. The hostel fee is 70000 per year.
