Entrance Preview

I took MHTCET entrance exam . 159/200. This was one of the top 5 autonomous colleges of Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was fantastic and in match with IITs' sylllabus.

Placement Experience

3.5

As the college was in backward part of Maharashtra, not many companies willing to come there. Around 70% students were placed in Hella, Nvidia, Cognizant etc with package avg between 3-6 LPA.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio was great you can say 1:3. Frequent parties on festivals, freshers, farewell, hostel day etc. We used to have cricket, basketball, table tennis tournaments. In Pragyaa festival, lot of robotics competitions.

Exam Structure

In one semester two exams - mid-sem and final sem. Labs are the main focus of our dept rather than theory. Not much assignments

Faculty

In my branch, 10-12 professors were PhD from IITs with excellency in electronics, image processing, vlsi etc.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.
