Remarks

My mind setup was clean to apply for this college lnly because I get scholarship and moreover it is government college.Minimum pass to take admission was 60% which I passes. Then I had a counselling on course to select but I already had my mind of course so directly fill the form and fee structure and take my seat to had a admission confirm.Rest I got scholarship over +2 marks which is CRM scholarship and got reduction in my admission fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a dream of being software engineer. I want to proceed in the field so i opt for this course. Faculty is good as number of teachers are available for one subject and students ratio is more in computer science branch and least in mechanical branch.chemistry and physics teachers are gold medalist and some teachers are PHD holders.its moderate to pass the term exams and we have 2 Mst and 1 final exam per semester

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very simple. Students get scholarships based on +2 results. As I got 79% I got 80% reduction in my exam fee due to which I had to pay only 20000 per semester and 40000 per year. I got a CRM scholarship. I do not get placed yet as I just started my college journey and not experienced so much

Campus Life

Technical fest does occur such as prayog in which all the students explore their knowledge, projects, and works. One club named DEVELOPERS by students in which many events, workshops, and fun activities are conducted. we had a good environment of sports as annual sports day is conducted and our teams play outer events too such as district national and further. Campus ambassadors are chosen from 3rd and 4th-year students are work with training placement cell.

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult
