Remarks

First and foremost studies are good, Faculty is good, Biotechnology was not so found the course in most of the colleges, So I had to prefer The Oxford college of engineering. After taking the admission I felt that my decision was right. As I felt the college matched my expectations. The college not only has good hod's but also faculties, who are always there to support us and solve our problems. Both theory and lab classes are conducted, And teachers explain n make us understand so well. My admission was done in 2018. Overall I enjoy the college atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a science student so I was interested in biology which leads to biotechnology. This was the main reason I preferred biotechnology. The faculty is just awesome. They never get tired of explaining though we ask them the doubts n number of time. Most of the faculties have their PhD and few have their Masters degree. Due to the pandemic exams were difficult. But with teachers help and support we could manage.

Course Fees: INR 89000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As it is compulsory to do an internship in the 6th sem our college offers internship opportunities as well. Not only internships the college also helps us in our projects. They offer us many other courses.

Placement Experience

4th year is the year in which most of the students get placed. I have seen most of the companies visiting the college And most the seniors have been placed in very good companies with good packages. I would prefer to get placed in a company with a good package after getting my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees are 89000, Though college offers scholarship I have never applied to any of them. As I am still a 3rd year student, I have no job. All I could say is I have gained knowledge about most of the things in biotechnology, Which is all needed.

Campus Life

The college conducts annual fests, Ethnic day, Sports day etc We also celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava very grandly. The Oxford college of engineering has a huge library, there is n number of books by which we gain extra knowledge.

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

The college with good staff!!

I choose this college over others is that as per my ranking this was the college I got and there were other options but the place where this college is situated has its own advantage. We will not have to bother about any transportation as such As per today's market trend we will have the placements more of sales role in each and every college So even here we have the same .
