Remarks

College management can work on getting better amenities for students in terms of infrastructure and research projects.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's brilliant and perfectly balanced so as to encourage extra-curricular.

Internships Opportunities

There are summer projects and internships under professors.

Placement Experience

Placements are the best in the country all the top notch companies visit the campus offering the top industry profiles and packages.

College Events

A lot of symposiums, technical conferences, hackathons, summits and Ted talks. Apart from them there was a huge array of fun events like Fashion parade, DJ night, Star Night, Dance performances, Musical nights.

Campus Life

4.5

DCE was the best four years of my life had a lot of learning, bonding, networking, and grooming in college the crowd here is phenomenal and the kind of exposure you get is out of bounds. Gender is ratio is better than most of the engineering schools there were ample opportunities for extracurricular too.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels were good enough though not luxurious mess food could have been healthier.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty

Faculty was great again some of the professors were really amazing while rest all were good too.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
