A Good Environment For Learning

The admission process was on the basis of merit scores in board examination. This college provides a good environment for studying with some of the best facilities. Labs of the Department are almost equipped but can be improved. In short a good place for learning.

Reason for choosing Civil was that it involved infrastructural designing. Faculties are helpful and they do provide a lot of guidance. Semester exams are conducted regularly with multiple assignments and tutorials.

Internships were offered in the form of Industrial Training in various areas. Like I was doing my training at CPWD Kolkata. The Internship offered are mostly without stipend. However Architecture students do get paid Internships.

Placement cell needs a bit improvement . Students become eligible for Placement from 3rd year. However the training and internship has been good overall. I though did not sit for Placement as I had plans for further studies.

Fees structure is around 4 lakhs for a day scholar. It is almost similar to other private colleges in West Bengal. Placement cell needs a bit of improvement though internships and industrial trainings are well conducted.

Annual tech fest has really improved along with a lot of new innovative ideas. Cultural fest has also been introduced since 2016 has been quit impressive. Classrooms are similar to those of schools and other colleges with Seminar halls provided adequately. Sports also has been very impressive.
