IMI Review

Located in the heart of the city, IMI New Delhi has a lot more to offer than academics. Within various committees, clubs and societies, the campus is always engaged with some of the other events, one gets a very different exposure as compared to any other B school across the country. Most of the events are organized by the students and therefore it provides the student with an opportunity to either being part of the event or being in the organizing team.

IMI has an amazing set of faculties, the teaching pedagogy mainly focuses on case-based learning, which not only enriches the subject knowledge of a student but also helps one to understand the application of the same. The college also provides the students an opportunity to learn about foreign culture, in the second year a student who is willing to study abroad for a term can opt for a student's exchange program. The college has tie-ups with several universities across the globe, IMI have students from other countries at the campus for a trimester

Most of the interviews for Summer Internship placement starts from the 2nd Trimester and Final Placements will start from at the end of the 4th trimester. The total fee is 17.15L excluding hotel and mess. The fees need to be submitted in 6 installments to the Finance Department. Fees are on a higher side as compared to other colleges. the college provides scholarships for CFA exams for students who have opted for BFSI Course.

The annual Fest of IMI is Kritva which was conducted February in 2021. It is Annual Management, Cultural, and Sports Fest where students from different B-schools come and participate. Apart from that IMI has different committees, clubs, and societies which helps the students to be in a position where he/she can contribute in IMI's growth. All the events and activities at IMI are student-driven which gives everyone an opportunity to have real-life experiences. Being in south Delhi, the campus of IMI is small when compared to different B=-Schools.

As we all are facing some tough times, IMI has not opened the college and that's why students of the 2020-22 batch are not able to experience hostel life. So I will not be the best person to comment about the facilities provided. But from what I have heard, Sodexo has the contract for taking care of the mess and they provide more than satisfactory services.

After CAT, top students in the exam get shortlisted for the next round. Their students get invited to the college or other centers throughout the city and they will have 2 rounds ie Written Ability Test and a Personal Interview. Students should be aware of all the current affairs and should have done a detailed analysis of the budget presented by the Finance Minister.
