Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I Choose E&C because of my specific interest in the field. E&C has one of the best faculties in KarnatakaIt has Good faculty: student ratio. of around 1:25Majority of the faculties has done Phd in their respective fieldsThey show great teaching methods. They tell their honest experience while teachingExams were moderately easy to Pass. E&C has difficult subjects such as MP and MC to very easy subjects such as LDVTU marking scheme were not that great

Internships Opportunities

1

There is no internship provided. you may need to search it outside your college. Attend hackathons and other competitions. Only final placement is provided. if you have talent, consult the companies within shimoga to get local internships

Placement Experience

2

Placements are usually in 7th semester. As usual, TCS is the Mass recruiter. It recruits around 90% of the batch. You also have Dell R&D, Evive healthcare etc. But they take only few students(Around 4-5). If you are not placed, you need to give some 1 Lakhs(Approximate) and join Q-spider

College Events

Techzone is the annual fest that students will enjoy to the core. It is usually conducted around March. If you are hungry to learn, you have a lot of opportunities here. You can even work with your lecturers for their Phd Work. TAP is a club that you should join. It helps to upskill you a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are allocated in Government quota, You can finish studies within 4 Lakhs(Including hostel) Fees structure is based on yearly basis. You need to pay around 45-50K fees each year.Fees hike was around 12-5%

Hostel Facilities

4

It has very basic ammenities. No AC rooms provided. Food is Okay. It has a playgroud. Twin sharing is available. You can also have three sharing. Hostel is situated inside the campus, so there won't be any problems going to and fro

Admission

There were no any Group discussion. If you score well in CET, you are confirmed with a seat. You need to be patient enough to wait till last round. Many students will get admission in last round. If you score very well in board exams(Above 96+) in Physics, chemistry and Maths, eventhough if you fail miserably in CET, You still have a chance to get into this college. Hence concentrate on board exams mainly. Aim for 96+ especially in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. CET can be unpredictable. You should give 75% efforts to board exams and 25% to CET.

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.
