Remarks

I choosed this college due to the counseling criteria. College is good but not best as per desire. Good faculty is leaving the campus. Administration is degrading day by day. Unable to arrange the extra activities.

I choosed CSE because I had a deep interest in Technology and demand of the market as well. The placement is best for CSE student as compare to other stream.

I got internship in It firm where I learned several new stuffs. But college is not arranging such type of internship.

Placement Experience

Students can give offcampus interview. If they are not getting chance to sit in college campus. Placement service is very poor in this college. Maximum students are getting job outside from campus.

College Events

Life in campus is good, playground is there, library, cafeteria is there. Several other options are also available to have fun with friends. Culture activities are also performed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Student's can pay their fees on semester basis. After giving fees only they can allow you to sit in exam. Students can avail state scholarship as well as central scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is affordable but the quality if food is not best. Quality of food is good on some day but bad in some day also. Cleaning facility is also not best.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.
