As a management school most important aspect is what you pay in the form of fees and what you receive in the form of Median placement package. Here both the numbers were very good with its peers. That is against 8 lakh fees you can secure a average package of 6.5 lakh. The overall management of college not very good, their are errors it's difficult to contact them for queriew and their resolution. Staff is very good they are highly qualified teachers. Infrastructure is not that cool like we expect. Process starts in December with registration of IBSAT Exam their after a computer based exam in last week of December further to it shortlisted candidates have their GDPI in the last week of February at their main campus that is IBS Hyderabad and then by last week of march you can confirm your seat by paying 80000 and then they allot you the campus according to your overall score.Why IBS? Its a brand Well known in corporates the return on investment is good and fees is affordable for a middle class family boy also college have tie ups with bank for education loan.We can select the course specialization with Major-Minor or Dual specialisation is also available.
Course Curriculum Overview
The very interesting part of PGPM at IBS is 14 weeks of internship where dozens of company comes and hire for internship its like its first step for our final placements. This internship are really worth making and one realise its importance during final job interviews. Soft skill faculties conduct mock GD and interview they literally guide you they will hand hold you until your placed. Qualifications of faculties are mostly Masters of PhD.Exams are designed in such way that one cannot crack it only by memorising their are enormous case studies during this course and maximum marks can be scored through case study where you Lear and apply your skills and knowledge. It's not difficult to pass the exam as throughout the year continuous evaluation process goes on and in final term you only gave exam for 40% and 60% evaluation is already done during the semester periods like PowerPoint presentations, MCQ tests, Role play.
Internships Opportunities
For Internship 100+ company's came with names like Morgan Stanley Aditya Birla Group with average stipend of 5000-8000 per month.Project were selling insurances also data analyst positions also offered during internship, content marketing etc
Placement Experience
Final Placement season start during 3 Rd semester. Some of the companies that visit areDelliotte JPMorgan ITCAmulHDFC BankICICI Bank PwcHaldiram Infosys Tech Mahindra and so on approx 200 companies visit to campus.95% students are placed onn campus and 5% off campus. Even after course completion college provide placement assistance.
College Events
In the college their are all 14 club out of which you can be apart of 4 clubs annual fest name is kon flux which is full of fun also fun fair is being organised by college where you can install stall and sell the products. International and domestic industrial visits are organised by college during our batch the destination was gujrat and China.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is around 800000 and it can be paid in installment that is every 3 months. Scholarship is being provided by institute according to the score in semester exam. You can also work in college library and computer labs where you can earn at least 5000 per month for the period of minimum 6 monthsDuring internship that's is betwee first year and second year we call it summer internship my stipend was 12000 and in the final placement I got a job with total CTC of 700000 and my profile was investment advisor.
Admission
Yes their was GD PI. Its was not very tough one can clear GD easily as their was very generalised topic like Business v/s Job, Female Managere v/s Male Managers.I just keep track on IndiaBix site and its sufficient to prepare. Current affairs are also impt like at that time it was demonetisation, GST, etc
