Remarks

Very supportive and friendly Management. We can freely approach any members of the management team for any sort of help.

Entrance Preview

Keral Entrance Examination, 8042. College with good reputation among engineering colleges in Kerala, Excellent infrastructure & Faculty student ratio.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Affiliated to MG University. Now under KTU. The curriculam under MG was more simple and apt. Now the curriculam is a bit overloaded and excludes some important and necessary courses like C programming, which is a must for any harware programmer. May be in future KTU introduce the same.

Internships Opportunities

College support internship for students. But no stipend paid from college. They have to meet the expenses themselves.

Placement Experience

4.5

In my batch, I don't remember the exact number. But almost 70 percentage of the students were placed. Some companies were Hexaware, TCS, CTS, Infosys, ibs, Nest etc. Now also the placement department is working hard to make more than 70 percent of students placed in reputed firms.

College Events

4.5

Technocultural fest-Nakshatra, Arts festival - Pratitya, Department technical fests (for ECE branch - Horizon), Freshers day, Sports day, Christmas celebrations, Onam celebrations, International conferences (ICVCom, ICVCI, ICTTAS etc), National Conferences, FDPs, Seminars, Workshops etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time of study it was 36000 per annum for Govt seat as well as management seat. Now it is 75000. Its a little expensive but for quality education you need to pay more. But there and many schemes like Tution fee weaver scheme for bright students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I have not availed anything from college. But there wer students who were helped by the college faculty memberd and management.

Campus Life

5

Goodcampus life, decent gender ratio and diversity. All types of extracurricular activities are promoted. The following are the active bodies of the college- IEEE Students chapter, Robotic club, Nature club, NSS, Quiz club, Photography club, Students association, Mathematics club, Hobby club etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities and mess food are very good. Now there is an international standard hostel also for foreign students. Mess is run based on divide system, managed by students. The food menu also prepared in consltation with the student members of the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a network of our alumni members via facebook and whatsapp. We have a large database of our alumni members. The alumnae members post every opportunities from their companies in fb. Many alumni tals and interactions are arranged.

Exam Structure

Exam structure include two series exams -each out of 100, one model examination. Average of these three are converted to 30 marks. This mark+10(Assignments)+10(Attendance)=50 makes the internal mark. Rest of the 100 mark is university exam mark total=50+100=150.

Faculty

4.5

Being an Alumnae as well as a faculty member(now), it will be a tall talk if I say something about this matter. But then too I can confidently state that the faculty members are highly dedicated, experienced and are always a helping hand to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
