It is amongst the best colleges in Pune for Engineering. VIIT has a very good placement percentage of 80% for computer engineers. For Admission process your CET score is counted. It is a online process if you CET score is met then you can get this college. The main reason for selecting this college is as this institution has a very reputated name in Pune and about the fees are reasonable compared to other colleges. Now coming towards the bad aspects there are not many bad aspects, I only think that the campus is not so huge.

As I have a keen interest in computers that's the reason I choose computer engineering. All faculities are graduates and post graduate. About 70 students in a class and 1 teacher. All the facilities are excellent in teaching as they are masters in their subjects. Teachers help students alot. Exams are not so difficult to crack. They are pretty much easy as you may have the experience of JEE / CET these are very easy as compared to them.

In Fourth year you become eligible for placement i.e after your 6th semester. If you are brilliant in studies then the college also gives you internships at 3 year itself. Most of the intership gets converted to placement. They see your performance during the internship and if satisfactory the you will receive a offer letter form them. If you get places through these internships then you cannot sit for interviews during campus placement. There are many companies which come in this institution and that is a very major advantage during placements. The placement percentage is more than 80% for computer /IT. The highest package got is about 48 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get places in a nice company.

Life at campus is awesome. This institution has an amazing infrastructure. There is a building in shape of a ship that is for marine engineering. This college also has it own annual fest which is call Gandharva wherein there are cultural/technical and many more activities. Every year Gandharva in Feb/March. This is the best months in your college life. Library has every book you need in engineering with multiple copies. Every classroom has benches,black board, projector, computer. There are various sports in this college like football cricket kabbadi etc. Social group are also there NSS / EDC club, coding club etc.

Fees will be around 160000 for general category. 100000 for obc and much less for other categories as well. These fees will be constant throughout your 4 year course. There are many scholarships provide by many institutions and government which are only for OBC SC ST etc. not for general category. To get the scholarship your family income should be less tha 2 lacks per annum.
