Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course content is somehow difficult as the syllabus is quite complicated and more as compared to other universities. The exams are well structured and if it has a total of 9 questions and in that 1st question is compulsory and out of 8 questions, 1 question from each unit is to be done. Some times this principle is followed but not always.

Placement Experience

4

For internship, there was no special facility provided. No companies came to college looking for interns.Talking about placement first, I think BVCOE can definitely provide someone a good starting job but not that good if compared to DTU or NSIT colleges. Generally, Only one mass recruiter visits for campus placement that is TCS.Most of the companies that visit this college are IT based ones. Most of the CS/IT branch students get placement at the end of placement session. But it is difficult for other branch students to get placements as opportunities are less and they also have to shape themselves according to the requirement of companies.

College Events

One of the reasons BVCOE has produced some very awesome leaders and speakers is because of its society culture, which no other college has to such an extent. We have 15 societies (technical, non-technical and entrepreneurial). To name some of the internationally known ones are: ACM, IEEE, Google Developers Group, Microsoft Technical Group, CSI, ISTE, Enactus and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

feasible about 1.25 lakh/year Bharati Vidyapeeth is a top-notch college which has been granted Deemed University status by the MHRD Ministry as well as it is accredited with A+ by NAAC in 2018(Only a Few gets this accreditation).Talking more about the same, college is located in a cool and calm environment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are only for girls that too when their family income is below 5 lakh/year and she must have scored at least 90% in her 10th and 12th class.the loan facilities are also available and that is a lengthy process for some students while very simple for the students who scored high grades in their schools.

Campus Life

4.5

Infrastructure: Modern infrastructure. Much better than the majority of IPU colleges. The most important thing is We have ACs. Yes, I brag about that because firstly, it's too hot these days Secondly, we pay no extra fees for that (as compared to other private IPU colleges).Metro Connectivity: One of the most convenient things about BVCOE is its awesome location. Deboard at Paschim Vihar (East) Metro Station, the college is 15 steps away from the stationäó»s exit. The library is well maintained and offers a variety of books.

Alumni/Alumna

Theres a very uncommonly (w.r.t other IPU colleges) interesting fact about BVCOE students and that is, people are more motivated about MS/MBA or start-ups, instead of jobs. In my batch of 60, around 20 students are going/preparing-to-go for MS/MBA; around 6 students already have their start-ups (multiple start-ups even).

Admission

Class 12 from CBSE with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separatelyEnglish (core/ elective/functional) should be a mandatory subject

Faculty

4

Some of the faculty are nice and kind hearten while some are as much as cruel as Hitler or more than him. The nice faculty are always overtaken by the cruel one the marks are only given for good handwriting, not for bad ones. You need to fill as many pages you can in the exams.

The College provides placements and has a dedicated Placement Cell and each year people graduate with low to high pay packages. The students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester. There are various companies that visit our campus and 5 such companies are: Accenture, ZS Associates, Infosys, ION Group, RTDS. The highest package on-campus is provided by ION Group of 17 lpa. The average package is 4 to 5 lpa. There are 80% to 90% students placed every year. I am also planning of getting a job after the degree and currently sitting for placements in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing a B.Tech in Computer Science stems from a strong interest in technology. The coursd curriculam is appealing due to its well-rounded structure, covering a wide range of computer science topics like Artificial Intelligence. The flexibility to choose elective courses aligns with personal interests. The faculty, recruited through a rigorous process, is well-qualified. They use various teaching methods, including lectures and practical activities. While the faculty-to-student ratio is good, seeking feedback from students can provide insights into teaching styles. Exams occur every 2.5 months, balancing mid and end-semester assessments. The weightage distribution between exams and internal assessments is favorable, allowing a holistic evaluation. The exams are described as moderately difficult, striking a balance for student success.

Placement Experience:

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree
