The University of Cambridge founded in 1209 is a public research university in Cambridge, United Kingdom and is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest. One of the world's oldest universities and leading educational centres it is also a self-governed community of students. This university is formed from a variety of institutions which include 31 constituent Colleges and over 100 academic departments organized into six schools and they are Arts and Humanities, Biological Sciences, Clinical Medicine, Humanities and Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Technology. There is a Council of each School äóñ including representatives of its Faculties and Departments. But the University's museums and collections also hold many treasures which give an exciting insight into some of the scholarly activities, both past, and present, of the University's academics and students. The University boasts of a diverse international community and welcomes talented students from around the world. Hostel Facilities

Yes, Hostel Rooms are good for the first year students but not as much good for the seniors. The main problem in hostels is that they have seperate hostels for juniors and seniors whoch makes it difficult to interact with seniors

Admission

Most colleges have status checks through their undergraduate admissions offices website. The confirmation that tells you they have received your application usually will have a website login and password so only you can see at what stage of the process your application is, but i joined through PGCET

Faculty

Each College is an independent institution with its own property and income. The Colleges appoint their own staff and are responsible for selecting students, in accordance with University regulations. The teaching of students is shared between the Colleges and University departments.

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.
