See there is pros and cons in everything. So you should adapt in all possible ways. You should create a positive environment with positive mindset people to achieve good academics in college. I dont think so in negative remarks

Course Curriculum Overview

Totally In Four years we wrote around 55 exams. Per year we had 12 theory exams and 6 practical experiments. Probaby in one semester we had around 6 theory exams and 3 practical exams. Regarding fees structure we paid for one thory around 150 rupees

Placement Experience

Yeah placement was fair. With top reputed companies like Tcs, cts, wipro ON campus done with only few got selected. So 100 % placement in IT or core is not guaranteed in our college. If you work hard you will pay for it.

College Events

Yeah we conducted college symposium in every departments in grandeur. For few years we stopped conducting culturals. I dont know the exact reason. Also I'm not sure if it's continuing there right now.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah feasible. The institute always take care of students education. If you score high marks in semester even they offer you discount. Fee structures may vary. Institution also provided more time to pay the dues. Thats good sign right

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah As I said before earlier college gave scholarship to the students who got selected through centac and who scored more marks in semesters. It's not bank to offer loan. If you need education loan it would be processed by both management and government.

Campus Life

Yeah laboratories are good. You can demolish more experiments with lab assists. They have a big play ground. All multiple sport events happens every year to boost students energy levels. Weekly twice you would be having sports class.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is fair. Well infrastructured but colleagues not ensured to keep neat and clean. Food was good. Within the university campus the hostel is located. I'm not aware of warden, caretaker and all. Since I didn't stay there

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah senior students are supportive in nature. You can make senior as friends. They will help you in giving notes exam tips and all. If you follow them you could become more versatile and productive. Yeah alumni network is not happening

Admission

Yeah here I will disclose how I got admission in Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology in brief manner. I got through Centac. Have you heard about that. It's affiliated by pondicherry University.

Faculty

Staffs are supportive but not friendly. Institution follows only through policy. When I studied I seen more skilled professionals expect few. Literally I learned more stuffs among those staffs who were not skilled. Let me tell you how that's happened

Placement Experience:

From the final year which means 5th and 6th semester for undergraduate students and 3rd and 4th semester for Post graduate students, it is eligible for them to attend the campus placements. In my MBA, we'll be eligible for next semester to attend the placements. But for undergraduate students, they might have got chances now to attend the placements. The companies visited for us when I was in Undergraduate in the same Loyola College are Deloitte, Accenture, Standard Chartered, Goldman Sachs, RR Donneley, Bank of America, Sutherland, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Equinty, Turing, and many more small companies also came. The overall placed students numbers were almost more than 300 among the final year students alone in the college which is a great achievement. The highest package offered for us is ?700000 from Goldman Sachs and the average package we received is ?300000 which is from all the small companies. The percentage of placed students in our college is almost 85% from our batch alone. So we hope that in this batch there might be more than 90%. The reason for 85% in our batch is most of the students has moved for higher studies. My plan after getting degree is to get a senior most position in any of the big company and grow in my career.

I choose BA English Literature because it has wide range of of lterary subjects and focus on Language, communication, writing skills. Inclusion of critisim and theory, which builds analytical thinking.

Campus Life in an island

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because it was rare. Not many colleges offer this course. So the certificate has its value. Curriculum doesn't necessarily prepares you for real world applications, but you have to opportunities to develop skills. You can work with phd scholars , they are all very friendly and let's you work with them and learn. The curriculum could be improved by introducing more about fisheries, currently the syllabus focus on oceanography, biochemistry and other laws or policies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pondicherry University has good sociology department and well trained professors.That ' s why I choose this.The curriculum contains major sociological concepts and theories and areas like rural and urban sociology, gender sociology,youth sociology and social on.The teaching methods should be improved.The exam schedule is tight.I write two semester exams in a day.The questions are not too hard but don't gets marks.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

Remarks:

Money oriented. Not focusing on the students career growth and knowledge probagation. Only focusing for the upcoming year admission so that they can earn more. The interest from the caution deposit can buy an expensive car.
