Remarks

Money oriented. Not focusing on the students career growth and knowledge probagation. Only focusing for the upcoming year admission so that they can earn more. The interest from the caution deposit can buy an expensive car.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is an outdated syllabus. Only for the sake of degree have to read the subjects and there is no updates in curriculum as well as exam structure is purely based on the memory capacity not by the iq or creativity.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities has to be taken by the students itself. It's students duty to prepare and learning skills for the placement. but college will charge for that too. even if u got placed have to pay them your salary before you get into the company.

College Events

Events celebration are strictly prohibited. And attending other college events are also punishable and banned due to the attendance percentage. Getting permission for event celebration is too hard so that u can't celebrate event though u got permission.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive and charges for all process. Have to pay fess for all basic facilities and extra charchable for extra needs. Caution deposit are refundable. But student will get pension before caution deposit.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had never heard about scholarship / loan facility within the college campus. Some offers are available for certain group of students based on their communal category.

Campus Life

Labs are maintained for the advertisement purpose. Sports will be long jump on pathway during rainy season. PET faculty have specially coached for finding students without ID card and not with proper dress code.

Alumni/Alumna

STUDENT will be treated well on admission process only. Bonafide students cannot be respected and how can we expect from alumni and senior students. Senior student helps junior better than the management.

Admission

Centac based admission. Merit list allocated by marks scored in higher secondary education and the communal category of the student. Based on the rank and cut off marks students are invited to attend the council and opt for the college.

Mostly faculty will be the recent passed out of the college. Some faculty are rich in knowledge and friendly. Unfortunately most are like school teachers and not fit for teaching to college staffs.

Let your Light Shine

Likes

The most liked things in my college is the college atmosphere which takes us to a heavenly feel. The environment is very silent when we visit in morning time when the students are in class.
The next thing I like the most is the professors in the college. Each and everyone is a friendly teachers where they not only help us in subjects and class related things but also guide us in our future career plans.
I like the way they treat the students in the college. They'll provide more liberty to the students but that doesn't affect them because the students too will be in their limits of liberty. So this is a good habit developed by the college.

Dislikes

There is nothing particular that I don't like. Sometimes I feel that they'll conduct some events where there might not chances to the deserving students.
There is some students gang where they take care of everything in the college by themselves without giving chances to deserving students.

Placement Experience:

From the final year which means 5th and 6th semester for undergraduate students and 3rd and 4th semester for Post graduate students, it is eligible for them to attend the campus placements. In my MBA, we'll be eligible for next semester to attend the placements. But for undergraduate students, they might have got chances now to attend the placements. The companies visited for us when I was in Undergraduate in the same Loyola College are Deloitte, Accenture, Standard Chartered, Goldman Sachs, RR Donneley, Bank of America, Sutherland, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Equinty, Turing, and many more small companies also came. The overall placed students numbers were almost more than 300 among the final year students alone in the college which is a great achievement. The highest package offered for us is ?700000 from Goldman Sachs and the average package we received is ?300000 which is from all the small companies. The percentage of placed students in our college is almost 85% from our batch alone. So we hope that in this batch there might be more than 90%. The reason for 85% in our batch is most of the students has moved for higher studies. My plan after getting degree is to get a senior most position in any of the big company and grow in my career.

Likes

The overall campus (well maintained,clean, availability of basic facilities,gym, shopping complex, open air theatre,2 stadiums, indoor court ,large no of hostels,free bus service, good classrooms)
Seminars or lectures by skilled professors,less academic stress,quality education,24×7 reading/study room,Main and department libraries, canteen and tea time facilities, good mentorship
Strong security checks, good environment with lots of trees, good air quality, Interaction is possible with students from various parts of India

Dislikes

Need improvement in academics,last time rush to finish syllabus, Marking system , limited study resources
Same and average mess food ,some hostels are old and need maintenance
No cultural fests, less department or university programmes and competitions,No study leave for exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pondicherry University has good sociology department and well trained professors.That ' s why I choose this.The curriculum contains major sociological concepts and theories and areas like rural and urban sociology, gender sociology,youth sociology and social on.The teaching methods should be improved.The exam schedule is tight.I write two semester exams in a day.The questions are not too hard but don't gets marks.

Likes

Hostel students say they get good quality food with affordable fee
Few teachers who are really cared about the students and their career

Dislikes

College buses are not in proper condition. Very poor maintenance
Many faculties are very lethargic and they do not complete the syllabus on time
Day by day placement sector is becoming poor. Students are not getting proper placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

Likes

Good faculty,and good learning and motivation .
Friendly teachers ,good environment to cleaning the class maintained
Many programs should be conducted. And many festival should be provided.

Dislikes

Is very strictly maintained in college faculty
No varities food and snacks,and no cut the college
No many time interval period and no model hair styles and one day exams conducted .

My college placement are good placement and no my college campus is inside to good and discuss aboutto employability to meet them college campus eligibility . And students getting placement and percentage maintained and after completing the course and degree should be provided

I applied to Pkiet college in karaikal. But it was niy so good college and also very far. So I chose this college with is very near to my home just 10 mins of travel. Overall a Good place to gain knowledge and Get placed

The admission process for the concerned state student will be according to the marks and the merit list. To join under management, an entrance test will be conducted, and according to the merit list selection process will be done. Honest review about my college

Good and best infrastructure Admission is very easy and in a smooth way The reason for preferring this college is because one of the best engineering colleges in Pondicherry and got merit seat from the central board in this college there is no entrance exam conducted in this college and I found this college in Chrome link from Google Lab facilities are available with a.c My college is one of the best go practice technology and it helps everyone to build their own career in their own perspective The fees structure are moderate and 60000/ year and exam fees are separate they will be collecting during the time The placement way is good in my college and I have interacted with alumni of the same college and they too gave a good review on their own perspective.
