I loved becoming a software engineer, and I am interested in it, so I chose an information technology course.
The students who are interested in doing an internship can come forward with the company in which they want to work, and the college will do their best to secure that company for an internship.
If you cleared all your papers at the time of placement, you have a greater chance of being placed in any company.

Dislikes

The course structure and syllabus are as specified by the Pondicherry University, which, in my opinion, is quite outdated.
The fees are generally not less, though the college fees are less. They will charge lots of additional fees, even for things you are not aware of.
The library management is so poor in handling the students books that they have to be given to the students at exam time for their reference.

Likes

College infrastructure and look and design
Classes are well and clean properly and good
He all the facilities to drink , eat , and play

Dislikes

Some teacher are very rude and annoys sometimes
College rules are too Strict, it doesn't feel like college
They don't do many events for students .

The college atmosphere is neat and clean which makes the campus feel healthy
Many events are conducted in the college community where students can participate and learn from the best of their knowledge
Meeting new people and friends sharing the best moments with them and sharing their experiences and thoughts

Dislikes

The food in the college is average and too good and too bad to eat
The buses in the college is too old and not clean feels like going in a garage truck
The location of the college is not good it is nearer to the wine shop and bars students get spoiled by it

Placement Experience:

In the seventh semester the students are eligible to be in the internship programs and also the students are eligible for placement in the same semester itself Tcs,wipro,sutherland,tvs,techmahindra,etc these companies will visit the campus every year and hire many students to provide them a job The percentage of the students placed in the colleges is around an average of 85% minimum

Good atmosphere around the campus feels better
Excellent staffs and good facilities for teaching such as projector etc
Well maintained labs and also the lab technicians are also friendly

Dislikes

Food in the canteen is average not good and not too bad
Placement in the champs are also average sometimes good and sometimes bad
The lift in the college is too slow we can reach the floor early through steps instead of coming by lift

Placement Experience:

In the 7th semester the students are eligible for placements the eligibility for placement is the students should have nill arrears. The training for the students for placement is taken from the second year itself The percentage of the students getting placed is an average of 83%

Likes

The class was good you have a clean and high computer for operating
And your lab is your class because of insufficient rooms in college
You can learn many thing by yourself. Not by teachers

Dislikes

The teacher are not well good except 1 or 2
The teacher only focus on academic not in extracurricular
They will pressure you for doing Small small things... If are you doing start-up they won't help you...

The exam are some easy to write but you have to speak with your hod for help to pass in semester for getting good Mark or pass marks if the paper is difficult in the semester exams.. facilities will speak with university and bring marks

Expectations and reality of MVIT

Likes

Quality of labs and classroom are better and well equipped
Staff are more friendly to us according to my department
Not a strict college and it have liberal rules and regulations

Dislikes

Events and culturals are rarely conduct and my college don’t encourage extra curriculum

In our day to day life IT companies are improved and thier are lot of vacancy in this field so I choose this course get back to IT companies and time interval of one exam to another exam about 2 weeks

In my college they follow puducherry University syallabus they mostly concentrated in the lab because practical classes are more important for the students then theory classes and for every semester there are 5 theroy classes and 3 lab will be conducted

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good and well.
Library condition is good and well for basic purposes
Teachers are friendly with students and they make some fee time for us

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities is not there and it should be improved

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically this course name is internet of things and Cyber security so,I thought the course and curriculum will be based upon the IoT and Cyber but it is totally upside down.because all we learn here is just computer science engineering curriculum.so I think this course won't be much effective.and this curriculum will not be useful for our real life experiences,and here the staffs are not good at the subject and the core they don't even prepare they just simply blaber the basics and the fundamental things so the teaching is bad. timing for the internal exams is 2hour and the exam will be within the syllabus but sometimes they keep exams before teaching the subjects so I don't like exams here .but the exams will be easy and simple.

This college have a decent infrastructures with decent amenities
And few friendly and supportive and encouraging faculty members
New department course availability gets our attention

Dislikes

Every Saturday will be working day and that sucks
There won't be many holidays and no leaves

College do have a great course and curriculum structure but the only thing is you should be having your own interest and prepare on your own For the real world experience the college tries there best to show us , and help to know through many guidance and awareness programs

Lab accessing for skill development and easy to access. Lab is well developed and good infrastructure maintenance. Free to access the lab anytime we want
Free periods - they don't take 8 hour full course regularly they given a free time daily for 1 or 2 periods . It will very helpful for us for some relaxation time . And very helpful to attend the class without any barries
Guest lectures and extra development activities related to job . They give a free training to all students related to the current skill technology

Dislikes

Restroom facility is poor. They don't keep maintaining regularly if they improve that it will be very helpful for us
Classroom teaching is not understanding properly.they teach only syllabus oriented only not giving any extra points related to the syllabus
Fees structure is more than expected. Comparing to their teaching fees structure is more

There are one canteen available in my college quality was good
Interactive in socila activities was provoked by the management
