Remarks :
"Learning by doing" is one of the quotes that has attracted me very much. And this college does that literally. I attended a program by the college's director, Mr. Thomas K George, and knowingly or unknowingly decided to continue my studies there. Attracted to all the methods of studying based on activities, that too for MBA, simply amazing. I will strongly recommend the same to my friends and relatives.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty members are with good knowledge of the subjects and experts in the same. They consider us as friends and we do too. We call them 'etta', a malayalam word used lovingly to call their elder ones, ones that they hold very dear to them. Majority of the facilities are with PhD and with NET exam qualification. The experience with them is very satisfactory.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are also as said. Companies like Aditya Birla, Indigo Paints, Asian Paints, Wildcraft, has taken students for internships. Assistance from college was also seen as the training and placement officer is the one who contacts the HRs and requests for internships. The above mentioned companies are only three of them, might have to write a lot to mention all of them.
Placement Experience :
100% placement or I will pay your fees back, are the words of the director. The companies approaching are also of God, no of best standards. The average package is 6 LPA. And the highest being 11 LPA of JARO in our senior batch. The placements start as soon as the first sem results are out and it means that the students can go for jobs starting from the first year itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I am student that is currently pursuing MBA, I find the total fees of INR 6 lakh totally reasonable. The amount is inclusive of all the fees including tuition fee, hostel, food, gym, swimming pool, football turf (about to be opened), value added courses (VAC), placement trainings, and many more extra curricular activities. I would not be amazed if the fee hikes in the future as it is totally understandable.
Campus Life :
Whatever you want as an extra curricular activity the director is ready to make it happen. The marketing students conduct a tech fear called 'MacWar' and finance students 'FedCL' and HR along with Hospitality and Systems students conduct 'LHac'. All these events totally boosts your confidence and makes you ready for the real world.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is close to the academic block where the classes are and the fees is inclusive withe the INR 6 lakh to be paid. Hostel facility has the following: 1) Three cots with bed and pillows. 2) 5 charging sockets with 1 fan and two tube lights. 3) Carrom board, chess board, TV, projector. 4) Meal quality is superb and not at all repititive per week. 5) Any complaints maybe forwarded and solutions will be provided at the earliest. 6) Any student taking admission is eligible for the hostel.
Interview Experience :
There was a small selection round as the seats are limited and the applicants are not. The director himself comes to meet all the applicants and introduces the operation of the college. Later he told us to relax ourselves and informed us to be prepared. Then he told us that he will ask us three simple questions and told us to answer as ourselves and not to fake it. The questions were: 1. Favourite movie, and why. 2. Why are you taking MBA, and why LEAD. 3. Why should LEAD take you and what can LEAD expect from you.
