Overall best college

IIT's are one of the best colleges in the world and among them, IIT Kanpur is counted as the best, the environment which we get and the facilities our college provide is great for overall development. Admission is done through jee advanced exam for which you have to clear JEE mains exam first. The overall highest package offered is about 1 cr rupee. In my course, the highest package offered is 35 LPA and the average package is 15-20 LPA.

The course curriculum of IIT Kanpur is a bit hard than other IIT's. Professors are good. Our regular class is taken by a professor and we are provided with a teaching assistant also who is normally a PhD student. Faculties are always highly qualified in their subject. There is a total of 2 exams in a semester (6 month period), exams are hard.

There are a lot of internship opportunities offered here. It has been a few months since I am in college but I have received about 20 mails regarding the internship. Roles in an internship can be anything depending on the company from web development to design or machine learning or any other thing.

College placements are too good. All top companies come to hire employees, Microsoft, Google, apple or any big company or small company will be there. The highest package offered in my college is about 1.5 cr and the highest package offered in my branch is about 35 LPA, average package of college is about 10-12 LPA and the average package of my branch is 15 LPA.

Per semester fees are about 102500, no other charges. This fee is totally worth it as the facilities provided are top-notch. We have a supercomputer and all sort of sports facilities are available. Gym, sports ground, library, canteen and other necessary things are all available in each hostel mostly open 24-7. The best scholarship my college provides is inspiring in which we get 60-70 k rupees each year if we fulfil basic criteria.

Antaragini is the annual cultural fest which is the biggest fest on our campus. It is for three days and many big stars come to this festival. Udgosh is our annual technical fest which is the largest technical fest in Asia. Inferno is our sports fest which is played by the students of the college. You will find any facility you can imagine inside the college campus. There are a lot of clubs that I can't count on here and even if your club is not there you can make a club if you have certain minimum members and approval of the head.

Boys are provided with a room for 2 in their first year and a single room in the third year. The hostel rooms are normal, but it won't matter too much as rarely anyone stays inside their room. Mess food is good. The hostel is provided automatically as you take admission to the college and you can change your room if you want.

You have to give JEE mains exam first and if you clear that exam you will be selected for jee advanced exam. The admission to this college is based on your rank in JEE advanced rank. The syllabus of JEE mains is the same as that covered in NCERT and the syllabus of JEE advanced is a bit more than that of NCERT. I did coaching in Allen to prepare for this exam. There is no other way to get admission to this college other than through JEE advance exam.
