Good place to enhance yourself.

It is a government university that placed a good ranking in the state. It is quite good for its academic and other cultural activities. The level of the study is also quite good. The crowd of the students is good as per knowledge criteria and personality wise. Admissions of the students are totally based on the merit list of online counselling. There are also physical rounds for the students which come after a few days of the online counselling results. The fees structure of the university is normal. But the hostel fees are little a bit expensive. Many companies of various engineering branches come here for placements and internship.

The faculty members have quite helped and a caring nature. They also have quite an experience of teaching and they teach the students with a lot of knowledge and practical methods. The electrical department of the university is a little bit more serious and strict towards the students. Although all the department's faculties were very cooperative with students. The labs of the university are good and possess all the important equipment as per the needs. There is a semester system in the university for the annual exams. The level of the exams is normal. But to clear the exams the students need to give 2-3 hours for self study so that they easily prepare themselves for the exams.

Basically, students become eligible for their campus placements in their 7th or 8th semester. Companies like Fidelity, TCS, Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Flipkart etc. Every year the numbers of offers made changes. Around 70% to 80% of total students get their placements. Most of the companies hire students from CSE and Electronics. Many of the students get their placements off-campus. The highest package offered is around 11 - 12LPA. The lowest package offered is around 2.5LPA. After getting my degree I decided to go for masters(Mtech) from NIT Kurukshetra.

The fees structure of the university is normal. The annual fees of b.tech. students are around 55 thousand, for PhD students are Rs.35,050 and for one year for master of business administration is Rs.65,200. Yes, there are lots of scholarship schemes for the students like- as per their performance in the class top 6 students of the class get a scholarship as per their marks in semester exams, for backward class, to blood relation with faculty members etc.

The annual fest is organized every year. In this many activities like skit, drama, dance, singing etc are organized. Sports meet is also organized, in which all the activities are related to the sports like tournaments, marathons etc. Tech fest is also organized every year. In this activities related to the technical field comes into play. On our campus international conference is organized by the CSE and the electrical department. There are thousands of books available in our library. Students can issue the books according to their preferences. There are many clubs or groups on our campus which organizes many different activities regularly. Evenly for a specific activity, a specific club or group is also there.
