Remarks

If you are an average or below average student then this is the best college you can ever go, I've been into this college for 5 years and it was good overall.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exams required. I've completed my bachelors degree into commerce i.e. B. Com , so it wasn't necessary to write any entrance exams , apart from this this college does not require good grades to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was doable , I was a working along with doing my regular bachelors degree, so attendance isn't much necessary , teachers are good and helpful , so I didn't actually attended the college much.

Placement Experience

1.5

The year I passed my graduation was in 2012 the college was pretty new, approx 5 years old so we didn't had any companies coming for campus interviews , I am not sure if they come now.

College Events

2.5

The year of 2010-11 was the first year when our college made a football team to compete in the university's matches , apart from this we had a fest celebrated which is commonly celebrated by every college, nothing special.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say Average , it's expensive than a government college but as compared to other private colleges it's feasible, especially people with low grades can definitely survive in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not that know of , I am not sure what more to write on this as we didn't required loan, students here are only average or below average students so neither of us would get the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Honestly when I was in this college we didn't do much of anything, campus is very small , we Ave one ground located behind the college , and about sports people were not interested.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

We didn't had any hostels or mess , however we had a cantine with was pretty much hygienic, and taste was good, we get only veg tough.

Alumni/Alumna

If you are afraid of ragging you can join this college as senior's were good and also helpful infact our seniors took care of conducting fests and involving Jr. Students.

Exam Structure

The course I was pursuing was a three year course , the first four semester are organised in college which was pretty much good , we had some internal project submissions as well.

Faculty

4.5

The management people, we need to wait for long time if we require a concession pass for railways , apart from this the management people can be rude sometimes , but teachers are good and helpful , they teach in a way that even a below average student wo

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
