The teachers are the best thing about XIE, they punish and scold you but also give you term marks. For our batch they made special greeting cards for everyone. We have a big ground for Cricket and Football. Two big Workshops for technical activities.

CET was the entrance that I took and scored 87 in it. I did get in Don Bosco Kurla but travelling from Nalasopara to kurla was tough so opted for XIE in Mahim. I always wanted to be a computer engineer so was inclined to this course. In interview I was asked some basic questions of Inheritance since I said that had computer science in junior college.

Curriculum is in sync with that of Mumbai University and the teachers are pretty experienced in their field with this regard. For example In Mobile Communications we were not taught android but symbian and WAP modules.

I intern shipped with Suven consultancy's in chembur as an Android developer. I learned and cleared level 1 & 2 with 78 and 62 percentages respectively, I got 5000 rupees for all my work. There was ONGC but for EXTC students with no stipend.

Placements were pretty god this time with Infosys picking up - 42, Tech Mahindra - 30, L&T - 35, Oracle - 3, Neebal - 2, Alpha Plus - 8, bookmyshow- 3Package was from 3.5 - 4.8 lpa.

Spandan is the cultural one with around 800-1000 folks participating. Celebs are called in, this year cast of movie ROY was there. Technical one is named Transmission and students from Jaipur come to attend and it is celebrated with aplomb because I was the ROBO Wars event head.

There is Maharashtra governments scholarship for minority which my friends cleared and have got 25000 every year for 4 years. There is TATA institute scholarship which you get after clearing their test.

Campus life is good being close to Bandra but Mahim is dull. Gender Ratio is 60:40 and being a catholic minority college you see a lot people from Vasai native. Extracurriculars are okay at best but still you can go to Xaviers in fort which counts for tennis and hockey. We have Prom nights which started from last year and was organized pretty well. Robotics sees teams from Noida and Jaipur competing.

Very very good. Infect the students coming from Best of colleges praises the food and hostel system.

Alumni's do show during college festivals and are constantly upbeat in social media. They do help in organizing fest and some have startups wherein they give training to our collegemates.
