Information about the facilities at XIE.

The college is ranked 3rd among private colleges in Mumbai by Times of India.It has good infrastructure,lot of labs and a lot of companies come for placements.The faculty is also good and very helpful.

The curriculum is based on Mumbai University syllabus.In any subject of the course(talking about my course) the syllabus covers mostly all the toics associated with that subject.Thus the portion is very vast.After you learn the course,you will never be completely blank on any topic related to the course. Great job opportunities, Many companies comes for campus placement Around 50-60 every year With avarage stipend of 4.5 Lakh per year Many internship opportunities in 2 and 3 rd year Around 90-95% students get job before passing final exams.

Placement and job opportunities are really good. i got into Igate while many of my friends got into infosys, l&t and many more other companies. The placement is almost 100% leaving the people who are going for further studies ofcourse.the companies come to our campus for most of the times. sometimes there are pool campus also.Igate offered 3.15L pakageInfosys offered 3.25L pakageMany other startups also came for placements offering from 4L to 6L p.a.pakages.

Exams are conducted in a perfect manner so as to not exhaust students. Midterms are conducted in betwenn the final sems. 2 midterms are there as it is in most of the other colleges. However the tests are conducted at proper intervals giving us ample time to study before the finals and vivas as well as after the first midterm or start of college.

Fee structure is feasible. we had to pay ~120000 fees. but its kinda worth it. college doesnt have ac classrooms. The fee structure is feasible when compared to other colleges. However, one should check with the scholarship department to apply for various scholarships. (but there are a lot of documentation work that you'll have to do which is time consuming and will make you lose focus on your studies.)

No i personally didnt opt for any education loan throughout this course but i have heard from some friends of fine getting education loan and they shared it was a quite a hectic processs but the college office authority did helped him to get through it. Also yes scholarships are offered at the campus but it totally depends on the merit and acadmic excellence of a student.

The college has a lot of extracurricular activities like drama club, Dance club and different events. The college also actively participates in different inter-college tournaments in games like football, cricket,etc. The college also has an annual intra-sports competition which spans almost a month. There are a lot of computer Labs.There is an electronics and electrical lab also which has a little less equipment which 3-4 people have to share.

There isnt any hostel facility in our colg. howvever being a jesuit group our colg has some residency in andheri somewhere for accomodation. but it isnt like hostel. We have canteen, and its really hygienic and clean also it is really good in vareity of food available. veg as well as nonveg.

The alumni network of XIE is spread all across the globe and is very helpful if you reach out to them for help.The faculty of this college will guide you when you need to contact them. Alumni also visit the college on many occasions and then some of them give their valuable insights in their respective fields

Great faculty supportive, helps a lot in studies and other activities, always there to teach something new, They help you personally Can ask for any help from faculty Energetic and enthusiastic Defferent for department. The faculty of the college is well trained. we got some new teachers for some subjects who werent really good, but after complains they were removed. so its safe to say that college adminstration focus on the faculty and student relations. Some teachers are extremely great. One such is Asst. Prof. Saurabh Patil in computer department. he is an all rounder and helps students a lot for their overall growth.
