Remarks

The institute holds a golden legacy ever since the year 1981. It boasts of its alumni network spread globally as well as excellent pedagogy. It is one of the best Institutes of India and also holds global recognition. The good aspects include its placements, faculty as well as location. It is situated in the heart of the corporate hub of India. The bad aspects are rare and are always diluted before the strong positives the college holds. However, It includes a super hectic lifestyle. Students are loaded with assignments and projects and midnight submissions almost 4-5 days a week. The registration begins from the last week of September and ends in the last week of November. It accepts the scores of CAT and GMAT. The parameters of selection include overall profile, academic background, work experience, entrance scores, and achievements. I preferred this college over my other converts purely due to its pedagogy and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose the course in marketing due to my strong affinity towards various dimensions of marketing which include a promotion, packaging, branding, etc. The student-faculty ratio is 17:1. The faculty includes industry experts, research scholars, excellent guest faculty, and counselors. The exams were held on a pre-scheduled basis. The overall TGPA includes term scores, autumn internship, and projects. There are six terms, 3 in each year. There is also a global fast track plan which is a 3-week course.

Internships Opportunities

5

The total number of recruiters was 88. There were 66 recruiters who were new. 100% of students got the autumn internships. It is called so as the internships begin from the end of the third term itself. The median stipend stood around Rs2.4 lakhs. The average stipend offered was around Rs2.11 lakhs. The highest stipend was offered at Rs3.12 lakhs. The key recruiters include Accenture, HUL, Loreal, Aditya Birla Capital, Reliance, Godrej, Microsoft, Lead School, P&G, etc.

Placement Experience

5

The total number of recruiters participating was the process is 130. The batch size was around 233. The average placements hover around Rs28 lakhs. The highest package offered stands at Rs46.78 lakhs. Out of all participants, 81 bagged PPOs post their autumn internships. The major recruiters included Loreal, Nestle, Amazon, Axis Capital, Kodak Securities, Nomura, Ola, P& G, Titan, Pidilite, HUL, Accenture strategies, Himalaya, Flipkart, TAS, Mahindra, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a lump sum of Rs18 lakhs (17.89 lakhs). The overall cost of study If I talk about my personal experience, it goes up to 20 lakhs. Students who secure around 96% or above in MET (Management Eligibility Test) are 100 % fee waivers. Also, students can also avail fee concession as per the the guidelines of State Government. Loans can easily be obtained from several banks on a mortgage-free basis. 100% of students receive autumn internships. The median stipend offered is Rs2.01 lakhs. The highest stipend offered Rs3.2 lakhs.

Campus Life

5

The campus spreads over 45 acres. The institute has sports facilities, open air theatre, amphitheater, health services, playing fields, jogging tracks, IT center, Botanical garden, YogaKutir, etc. The institute follows NCL philosophy. The students have access to live databases, case studies, and web portals. The classrooms are hi-technology embedded. The annual fest is OJAS. It is a 3-day event. SPRINT is a sports event. The student committee includes the Participation board, Academic committee, Alumni Relations Committee, and Marketing & PR committee.

Interview Experience

5

There is a written assessment test . The word limit assigned is 250-300 words. Post WAT there is held a psychometric test. For both the tests, 30 minutes are allotted on an overall basis. There is a group PI. The average interview duration is 15-20 minutes. The panelists included 3-4 interviewers. Several questions included- Describe yourself? Why do you want to pursue MBA? Do you know Kaizen? What is the difference between solitude and loneliness? What is the meaning of GMBH? Besides, these question groups were given few business situations.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
