Remarks

The college holds the legacy of all rich and accomplished years since 1981. It is one of the most immensely decent colleges to attend in India. The pros of the college include its rich subject-specific diversity, rich pool of faculty, placements and its Global Fast track programme. The cons of the college can be its little fewer inclinations towards cultural activities if compared to other B-Schools high fees. The admission eligibility includes scores of CAT and GMAT with sectional cut=off of 75%ile for each section and overall cut-off of 85%ile. The applications start at the end of September and end at the end of November. I chose the institute because of its rich alumni base and impressive placement history and I never got disappointed.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The PRE-MBA course material is offered to students even prior to the initiation of the program. The study material received is from Harvard Business School. The first year includes core subjects and the second year includes specialization, 8 weeks corporate project and 3 weeks international immersion program. The student-faculty ratio is 15:1.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The autumn internships start from the end of the first year. The average stipend offered is around Rs.98000. The highest stipend offered ranges around Rs.3.9 lakhs. The recruiters include Bank of America, KPMG, Google, Amazon etc.

The students start getting final placement offers from mid of the second year. 100% of students get placed. The average placement is around Rs.26 lakhs. The highest offered package is Rs.51 lakhs. The key recruiters are Airtel, Google, Amazon, Edelweiss, L & T etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees stand to a lump sum of 18.9 Lakhs. There is two kinds of financial assistance offered to the candidate-a merit-cum-means based financial aid and merit-based awards. The fees are subject to updates and are completely at the discretion of the management of the college.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is very large, maybe more than 42 acres and serves a botanical garden, YogKutir, Cultural centre, IT centre, open-air theatre, sports facilities etc. Student committees include Industry Integration Committee, Academic Committee, Marketing & Communication Committee etc.

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no group discussion or WAT round. However, there is a group interview round. I had 4 more candidates in my batch. The panellists included 3 interviewers. The interview revolved around Why MBA, types of work experience we had commented on the improvement of various industrial sectors of India- Energy, Telecommunications etc.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
