My experience in SP Jain

I absolutely love the experience at SP Jain college. Starting from its infrastructure to its placements everything is so on point. Classrooms have world class infrastructure with PPTs in every classroom. The teachers of the college are very helpful intelligent and sweet. Hostels are very good clean and airy with an air conditioner in every room. The library was full with different level of books almost every knowledgeable book were available. College gives 100% placements and teaches ist students to become future business leaders.

I chose PGDM because it has good placements it gives more and more opportunities to explore. The journey has given me a guiding philosophy for work and life too. I tried to make the most of it because I believe that the college SP Jain has a very strong power to change students life. The faculty of the college is actually great and very friendly. SP Jain faculty is just a powerhouse of knowledge. The teaching method is a mix of lectures, classroom discussion, case study, project work, group studies and participation in national and international events. Exams are held on time midterm exams if the student is not satisfied with the marks can give an improvement exam but this scheme is not valid for the end term exam.

There are a lot of companies offering jobs such as Amazon, itc, gamble, tata etc the work offered is like web designer selling partner support etc. I was hired as a Transaction risk investigator in Amazon development centre Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad. There are a lot of live projects given and also tasks such as selling or advertising etc.

The average salary of 20.22 lacs and in the present year it is 22.32 lacs. Over 92% of the class got offers above 17 lacs and the median salary was 20,00,000 and 148 companies were participating in placements for 248 students to hire. More than 60% of the class got PPO offers. Big named fame companies such as ITC, Amazon gamble, tata, honda etc were offered. My plan is to start my own business after collecting a huge amount of money.

Fees are quite okay and worth it according to the facilities the college provides, loaning is quiet easy in SP Jain college with not a lot of fuss. Laptop charges, personal expenses such as food expenses, travel expenses etc is bearable by the student himself/ herself. Talking about the scholarships there are various levels of scholarships granted to the deserving student based on the holistic view of students profile. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of students performance and interviews. Top companies such as ITC, tata, gamble, uber, Microsoft, Amazon gives jobs.

There are two major fests- OJAS management and cultural festival and SPRINT- India's biggest business schools sports festival. The curriculum here is very smartly designed which involves value based learning. The students are given the opportunity to stay for three in a US business school and explore.

Yes, group discussions and interviews were taken. In the interview, the interviewer asked general questions which commerce student should know they also asked about the topic such as GDP tax etc. The Group discussion topic was online business vs offline business. The procedure is quite simple the students are required to give cat/xat / GMAT, anyone from the three gets the good percentile which the college demands fill the form of college give an interview to present yourself as a deserving candidate. Being attentive and confidence is very important.
