I selected Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya because of its low fees and it's a government college. The faculties are very good. The facilities are awesome. I got a good core branch that is ece. But Co-ed is not available, it's a boys college. The hostel facility is available for students. I applied to this college in the spot round. merit list was made and everyone was called on the phone according to the serial no as it was a covid time that's why everything went online. The Google meet was held during admission. The preferred choice of the branch was asked and if the seat in that branch was available, that seat was getting locked for that student. counselling fee was paid online in starting and then after getting the seat rest of the fees were to pay through online mode. I wanted to take admission in Computer Science engineering but my marks were not that much to have seat in Computer Science Engineering that's why so I selected electronic and communication engineering. I'm blessed because I've got the intellectual faculty. Professors have done PhD and are very helpful and cooperative. This is a boys college and in every BTech branch, there are 115 seats. Right now the classes are going online and they are teaching very well. E-books have been provided to us. Notes and other study materials are being provided to us in the Official communication channel google classroom. Classes are going on Google meet.

The placement is not that good but the companies that have visited are prestigious companies. The year 2020 - 33 companies for BTech, The year 2019 - 28 companies for BTech, The year 2018 - 30 companies for BTech (Indian navy also came). The year 2017 - 24 companies for BTech, The year 2016 - 13 for BTech like TCS. The year 2015 - 16 for BTech like the Indian army also came. The year 2014 - 21 like TCS. The YEAR 2013 - 26 like HCL. The median salary in 2020 was 3 lakh per annum and 83 percent of students get placed. From 2016 to 2020, maximum students were placed in 2020. Internship opportunities are offered from 1st year. From the 1st year, a lot of companies come for hiring students as interns and they also provide full-time jobs. Companies like Bolt-IoT, Internshala, offer Internships to the students.

Yes, there are a lot of tech fests annual fests. But because of online study, all webinar and all events are going online. Don't know much about campus life because everything is going online but We have an online e-library. The college has a big ground for sports and eca on the campus. A cricket league is also played in the college named GPL, GURUKULA PREMIER LEAGUE. Official clubs and groups are being created by the college but students have also created their club. Like there's is a club named CHARABANC created by 1st year student. They organise debate, art, gaming competition in that.
