Remarks

It has good academics. Good placement. Well qualified faculty. Supporting staff. It is accredited by the NBA( national board of accreditation) and AITCE(All India Council for technical education). Cultural opportunity is more where we can show our talents.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is one of the leading in-demand industry-level courses. As I was interested in communication aspects I chose this. All the faculty are well qualified with their M.tech and Phd degrees and have experience of upto 20 years in their field.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 91000 per year

Placement Experience

The average package in campus placement is 4LPA whereas the maximum is 12LPA. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, tata elxsi, Infosys, Accenture, hcl many others visit. Every year around 50% of students get placed. My plan is to get a job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For merit, the fee structure is about 90,000/- whereas for management it has 2,25,000/-. They provide all kinds of scholarships from the college side as well as from the state and Central government. Placement is good with an average package of 4 lakh.

Campus Life

The annual fest takes place once a year for 3 days. This includes sports, ethnic day, and programs. There are both books library as well a sophisticated digital library. The classroom is provided with smart boards.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
