Remarks

The admission process pretty straightforward, and the admission cell provides good guidance, Easier travel time for someone residing in Mumbai.A big campus, with space for outdoor and indoor activities, a rich mixture of various technical and non-technical co-curricular groups. Autonomous institute, providing flexible syllabus and attendance. This leads to more opportunities to take part in competitions. Some teachers are pesky and tough to deal with Averse to a 6-month internship during a college semester. More concentration on theory compared to practical even with autonomy in place

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Faculty to Student ratio: One faculty for ~60 students.Faculties ranging from MTech to PhD.Exams were held timely and the difficulty level varied between easy and tough. The syllabus is flexible owing to autonomy, but still not in line with the fast-paced tech out there. Aside from Unit and Semester tough, continuous internal assessments in place to help students learn better

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Since the past year, there is an internship cell dedicated for students to find internships. Also, there are in-house projects if you want to do any under a professor of your choice. Also, 6 monthly internships during the final year are allowed now and is a good experience for learners

Placement Experience

4

Placement initiated since the start of the seventh semester. Ample companies visit the campus including the likes of - Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, among others. The average salary of ~6-7 LPA CTC Highest salary 15 LPA CTC. Near to 100% placements for the Computer branch. I am working at a tech job after finishing my degree from here

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure was ~1,75,000 per year, this DOES NOT include the hostel charges if you need one. Campus placements for Computers are ample with an average of ~6-8 LPA CTC. There is Financial Assistance and Scholarship, but students need to be active to approach the institution for the same. The fees might be increased owing to conversion to private universities, more details on their website.

Campus Life

4

3 fests annually, one tech, one sports, and the biggest one, the cultural. Evenly spaced during the year. A big enough library to have ample books and even service of a book bank for the needy. Classrooms have good ventilation owing to the huge campus, hence no need for AC. Each classroom also has a projector, Almost all kinds of sports are available, even squash.A lot of technical like Codecell, CSI, IEEE, non-technical like Illuminati, etc.

Remarks:

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college
