Remarks

Because it is close to my place and have first ranked college in BCA programme. I'm studying here since august 2019 and i got a better experience in term of facility, faculty and management there. There, professors are very helpful to us and were always ahead to solve students' problems of any kind whether it is her/his career problem or any other situation, they'll help wisely. Iam totally satisfied with these faculties. Only problem i was genuinely fedded up of is that our IP University is slow like a snail. They release results of 1st semester after 2nd semester exams whose exams were held in December. Although this university take many major decision very slow and this will take much time. Also its uour 2nd year is going to complete in may-june this year but our 1st year results have not been recieved us in physical form yet. Thats a major drawback of our university I've facing tho. Our college has to be dependent on the IPU for further decisions hence our college cant do anything.

Course Curriculum Overview

Ive choosen this course because i take IP(information practices) as my main subject and there i find myself that im doing much better in that. I then research a lot a came to a state where i got an estimate that our technological branch get a major boost in upcoming future and more and more jobs are available at that time.

Course Fees: INR 99700 per year

Internships Opportunities

I domt have much knowledge and experience about it even I'm in 2nd year and hence i didn't gave any placement exam yet. But soon I'll give a exam and so the best and aquire a better and favourable internship or later a job for myself

Placement Experience

Students became eligible for placements in 5th semester or beginning of 3rd year. I don't have much knowledge about it but i know that big firm like MICROSOFT, TCL, INFOSYS etc have visited our university and can appoint many students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Almost the fees are hiked by 10k or 5k every year. Its scholarship system available for students where university can refurn upto 50k of total fee. As i told before that this IP University is snail slow. So in the scholarship form we need our 1st year marksheet to bw attested with scholarship form but the result has not been recieved by our college in physical form.

Campus Life

There's an annual fest named AVENSIS GENESIS and ENVA which is organised by seniormost students of our college in the month of February. And these fests are equally joyful. There're many students who used to have a small workshop or small competitions. Are much interesting these days.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
