Remarks

Actually I dont know bcz this college is allotted by KCET athurity and our college is also soo good facilities and good teaching staffs and all teachers behave like a good friend and teach well and they support me for everything I want to do about my education.

Course Curriculum Overview

They teach well and treat student as friend and clarify our dought anyway anywhere and they have well qualification and they have more then 6 years teaching experience and and they help us to face exams easily.

Placement Experience

In our college almost 7th sem students having job opportunity and they have more than 2 offers and salary is also good and the get good job with good package in a good company also.

Our campus has an amazing ground to play any sports whatever we like and it has a good sport facilities and our library is like a mountain of books then it has a good wi-fi facility its speed is like wind then alla equipments of our college campus is amazing.

I'm staying in one of the community hostel that's jagajyothis shri basaveswara free boys hostel it has a good facilities like librari, mess, filtered drinking water, daily news paper available in more then 3 language.

I took karnataka common entrance exam, 2018, 89400th rank in engineering,and iam belongs to hyderabad karnataka region,and I have studied from 1 to 10th class in kannada medium only.

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

I applied to acharya college and ramai college also but I got confirmed addmission for in this college . and I choose this colege because of my comedK rank . only this is the top college I was getting by that rank. yes I get rejection from other college that i applid to because my comedk rank is not sufficient to take admission in that college . there is the three process to take the admission in my colllege i) comedk - in my time the cutoff is 32k for Computer science and enginnering ii) Kcet- I am not sure about kcut cutoff but nearly 40-50k for this college iii) management quota - there is no cutoff for management quota , only you have to show your money power and get admission in my college my overall admission experience is normal...Read More

Actually I didn't get the other colleges because in the councellling i got this college. But I'm fine with it. Comparing it with other colleges can be done on the bases of fees structure, Curriculum, campus size. our campus size is approximately 17.5 acres, where other colleges follow VTU syllabus, here we have our own syllabus because our batch is the the first batch that is autonomous.
