Remarks
The primary reason for me choosing this college was that it had a good placement record along with a really affordable fee structure. Also reviews of this college on online sites were good. Also personal interaction with some of the college students encouraged me to do so. Now after being in the college I feel its good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I had some interest in Coding and software. The student to teacher ratio in my college was approximately 1:100 or less. Most of the faculty here is well educated and well learned. The practical subjects are treated with a very well defined practical approach and the learning environment is also great. The exams are very timely and have a decent level of difficulty.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 5th Semester onward (For BTech students). Many top companies visit the Campus including Google, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. More than 1000 offers are made with highest package worth 50 lakhs. The average package per company is usually around 4.5 Lakh to 10 lakhs. 85% placements. My plans are to get a job.
College Events
The annual tech fest is named as Parivartan and it is usually conducted in mid of November. There are adequate number of books and journals availability in the library besides the normal course/syllabus books. Classes are nice and big, some are equipped with projectors. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that occur in the college. There are too much of these to name all of them. There are regular webinars, competitions, hackathons, challenges, sports activities etc. There are many clubs in our college each one having their own website run by students.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is great. There are 3 grounds along with several others for recreation or specific games (like 2 basketball grounds, badminton court etc.) with a lot of sports equipment and teams. The campus is not WiFi but there is wired access available(Hostels have free WiFi though). There is a central library that is really big, besides a library in every department. The labs are perfectly well equipped with almost all equipment required for all the experiments.
Hostel Facilities
I opted for hostel. The Room has a bed, study table and an Almirah for each student. The quality of meal is good, there is a different menu everyday in a week. Hostel is registered to during admission itself. Hostel charges are 85000 a year for basic room including meals. Laundry service is also available seperately.
Admission
Direct Admission based on my 10+2 Percentage. My %age was 91%
